Leda Returns

It’s weird doing “X Model Returns” posts when I have wiped my entire archived on here, but if it makes you feel better, all my old NSFW photos are still up on Girls of Driven By Boredom including multiple shoots with Leda Bear. The last time I was in LA she was somehow the only person I shot actual NSFW photos of. I shot some pretty damn sexy photos of Anastasiya (I still have more of her to come) and I did a shoot with a musician named Riki for Creem Magazine and I got that in the mail today so I can post those soon too. But the only actual nudity I encountered on my trip was care of Leda.

Leda rules and even though she’s pretty much retired from being a naked person on the internet she was still down to shoot. Last time we took photos together it was back in 2021 and we shot a bunch of photos on her very pink bed and then we got some food and I took this shot of her I holding her leftovers, mask on cause you know that whole Covid thing. Some of my favorite photos of all time were of her and Aiden Ashely back in 2020 right before the pandemic when we went to this former military base in San Pedro, CA and took photos and then went down to the beach and took photos of them climbing cliffs nude. Seriously love those photos (go find them on Girls of DBB.)

This time we took photos in her room again, but they are a very different vibe. As you probably know by now I love photographing people in their spaces and I really appreciate people who let me shoot them in their messy rooms in just living their real lives, just maybe with the sex appeal turned up a tiny bit. All I wanted to be was a documentarian, but nudes pay better than journalism so here we are.

This is all a bit rambling but I gotta move in two weeks and I haven’t started packing yet and there’s still contractors in the new house and today the electrician just basically gave up and said he would be back eventually so that’s promising. Meanwhile the painters told me they couldn’t finish painting until a drywall guy showed up so they left and won’t be back until Monday. I wish someone told me that buying a house was a huge pain in the ass (oh wait, literally everyone told me that).

Anyway, most of these photos are NSFW and are only available on Girls of DBB, but here’s a small safe for work gallery of Leda Bear to hold you over until you can sign up for the paysite and help me pay for the dehumidifier I had to buy for my flooded crawlspace.

Anastasiya

Last month I went out to LA for a few reasons. I had a bunch of photos in the Superchief Contagious Culture art show so the opening was what I based my flights around, but I also just wanted an excuse to go to LA, take some photos and see my brother and his kids. On top of that I started shooting for Creem Magazine and I figure I could find some musicians to photograph for that. I reached out to some LA friends for suggestions and pitched Creem on two dozen artists and I ended up photographing a yet to be named musician for their next issue. (More on that soon…)

Anyway, two of my friends mentioned the same band, Vanity Pl8 fronted by a siberian bombshell named Anastasiya who of course people told me I needed to photograph. Creem had other plans but I wanted to photograph her anyway and she was super down so on my last night in town I met up with her at the end of a dead end street near an Amazon fulfillment center on the east side of LA. She rolled up with a trunk full of outfits and props and was up for anything. We probably spent an hour shooting in this little dead end while Amazon employees whistled at her from across the street.

During the shoot I pulled out my Instax camera (I am forever working on an update to my book Instaxxx) and it just wouldn’t take a picture. It’s a brand new camera so I figured I was doing something wrong, but turns out the batteries were just mostly dead. Anastasiya told me she had a bunch of Instax film she didn’t want and if I came by on my way out of town she would give me a bunch of film and we could take a few quick instant film photos. Turns out we did a lot more than that. We only shot for about 20 minutes but we got some really great stuff that I am saving for another post. That will probably come months from now because I am bad at life.

But yeah, we did two great shoots in 24 hours and the first shoot had multiple bikini changes. Oh, I should mention that these photos aren’t nude, but they are pretty sexy. I am still going to give you all the digitals from the first shoot on here for free, but I am paywalling the 35mm stuff because I need to pay my rent. The 35mm stuff is always the best stuff so you are gonna want to sign up for Girls of Driven By Boredom. Dylan Moore In The Streets

These photos have been a long time coming. I took these photos of Dylan Moore way back in October of 2023. My life was completely different back then. I was still living in NYC and I had no idea my landlord was about to raise my rent 40% in a few months and I would be “forced” to move to the beach in North Carolina. Dylan and I took photos in her hotel room and while we were shooting I mentioned this location that I had always wanted to use but never got the chance to do it right. She was down and off we went to Brooklyn.

At some point in the mid 2010s I was walking around my neighborhood in South Williamsburg and noticed this weird path that went behind the Peter Luger parking lot. I had no idea what was back there so I followed it and it was this hidden little spot next to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway where homeless people hung out and did heroin. Needles and caps littered the whole area, but I saw potential…

In early 2017 I was photographing my friend Ali Weiss for my book Instaxxx and I thought about that secret spot. It was winter and snow was on the ground so I knew no one would be hanging out there and we went back there and took some photos. Ali had never done nude modeling before so the photos were pretty tame, but I really loved them. I just knew one day I would get back there again.

A couple of time I tried to do shoots there but they didn’t work out. I had this idea of having a model fully nude laying on the barrier wall between the exit and the BQE. It was a terrifying assignment. You can hide behind the wall to get dressed/undressed but once you are up there you are fully exposed to hundreds of commuters. I knew I would only get one chance to do it so I was picky with models and we would have to find a day where there wouldn’t be a bunch of people shooting up back there. Things just never worked out… until October.

The day I photographed Dylan it was cold and rainy and perfect for this shoot and Dylan was a great model and was super up for it. We got back there and we shot the exact photos I wanted. Right before it started raining. I couldn’t have been happier. After that we went to my second secret spot, this time right off the subway platform. I wanted to shoot from the streets looking up. It was pouring rain and I probably should have brought a longer lens, but we still got some amazing photos of her up there, fully naked, while rain poured down on her.

I decided the first photos I would post of her would be the hotel shots and I wanted to wait a bit before I posted the ones I was really excited about. But then came January 2024 and I saw her in Las Vegas. We took a bunch of crazy photos of her in her fancy Vegas hotel room late at night. I loved these shots too and decided to post them next. They went up shortly after we got back from Vegas.

So why have these photos not gone up in the year and a half since then? I have no idea. I think it’s partly because I haven’t been shooting much down here and I wanted to spread her photos out. I don’t know any naked people in North Carolina and I haven’t been traveling as much as I thought I would. I didn’t go to AVN this year because there was a hotel strike and I didn’t want to cross a picket line, of course the strike ended just days after I canceled my flight. I did a few shoots in NYC but that’s about it. I haven’t been to LA in way too long so I haven’t shot anyone there, but this weekend I am gonna be in LA and I realized I still haven’t posted these, and it’s time.

Now, the big problem here is that every one of these photos is NSFW and I am no longer posting proper nudity to my site. As I have mentioned before we live in a puritanical nightmare and nipples are against the law now. So if you want to see these photos you have to go to the Girls of Driven By Boredom site and pay a small fee. But the good news is that if you do, not only will you see these photos, plus the two other shoots I did with Dylan, but you will also see literally hundreds of other NSFW photo shoots. Brynn Michaels In A Minivan

Back in January I was in New York for this big charity event I help run every year and I needed to rent a minivan for it. I was only gonna be in Brooklyn for one night before heading to New Jersey for the event (and my friend’s 40th birthday party which he held at an NJ mall for some insane reason). I don’t have any models to photograph in North Carolina for some reason, so I hit up a few people in NYC to see if they wanted to shoot. My pal Brynn Michaels was down but had dinner plans. My flight was delayed and by the time I would get back to my place it was going to be too dark, but I had an idea. I would drive directly to her from the rental car place, and we would shoot in the minivan.

If you are a long time reader of this blog you might notice that I don’t use studio lighting and I don’t use flash very often for my portrait work, so when I got to Brynn’s and turned on just the car lights I was deeply concerned at how dark it was in the van. I knew I could take some flash photos, but it was too dark to do anything else. Fortunately Brynn had a little mini video light and we shot the whole thing with that. It turned out it was absolutely perfect for the job. I have nearly the same light and I normally bring it with me as a backup for exact situations like this but I didn’t think I was going to have time to photograph anyone since I only had that night. Luckily it all worked out.

I ended up really loving these photos and glad I could get Brynn some photos she likes as well. This is the third time we have worked together and the second time I managed to delete the photos off my memory card before backing them up. That is literally the only time I have ever done that in the 24 years that I have owned a digital camera. So I owed her some good photos… I should mention, just as a quick aside, that Brynn was still healing from a breast augmentation so she’s got some red scars that are healed now. I don’t edit scars and blemishes because I like to think of myself as a documentary photographer, even when I am shooting nudes in the back of a minivan. Luckily Brynn respects my dumb vision and is letting me post all the photos unedited so shout out to her for that. Personally scars and blemishes just make photos feel more real/raw to me and I think that’s what a lot of you guy appreciate about my work too.

Anyway, while I was photographing Brynn I heard back from another one of the models I had hit up. I had mentioned the minivan to my friend Gia as well and she was down. She met up with me at my Brooklyn space right as I was parking. I knew it was going to be too dark in the van and I didn’t have a light for this shoot. We took a few photos at my spot but honestly the lighting there sucks so much I don’t even want to post those photos. We tried to shoot in the van after that and it really was too dark, but we tried. At the end I just used my iPhone light and those came out okay so I probably should have done more than that. After brightening them as much as I could in Lightroom, I ended up with 14 decent photos in the minvian that I uploaded as a little bonus.

So, as we move forward with this new site, all the NSFW images are going to be exclusively on Girls Of Driven By Boredom. This site is just going to have previews of shoots and then you can pay a few bucks a month to see the other shots. Fortunately Girls of DBB has tens of thousands of images on there. Everything that has been deleted from this site is still there, behind a paywall. Sorry, but blame the US government for the FOSTA/SESTA bill.
