Ah… The 7th Anniversary of BurningAngel.com. It is that time of year where everyone gets together and gets naked on stage in celebration of pornography. It is that most special of occasions where photographers even more creepy than myself come out of hiding. This year was so exciting that some of the other alt sites sent spies. I saw a Gods Girl and a Suicide Girl there… they must have been plotting something…  Even nudie photographer and heartthrob Ellen Stagg was there!

These photos are so Not Safe For Work that even the ones that don’t have any nudity are pretty scandalous. I decided against posting photos of girls deep throating dildos on the main page, but don’t worry, they are inside. That being said some of the best things of the evening are not in here.

Firstly, the girl who won the porn star contest thing they did emailed me to ask not to put up any of her photos. I am pretty pissed off by that, due to the fact that she was a main part of the stage show. I of course had to respect her wishes though. I had to post one really great one though, but I begrudgingly censored the image.

Secondly, I witnessed magic outside. The security staff was kicking out this guy who was screaming and yelling at everyone. I was told that he was kicking people inside. Two bouncers were caring him out. Each of them had one leg in one hand and one arm in the other. It was like he was sitting on a chair being carried out of the club. I didn’t want to piss off the bouncers by taking photos so I just watched, but I have to say that that was a big mistake. Out of nowhere some guy ran up and threw a running fist into the guys head while he was being carried. Since the bouncers were holding his arms and legs he has absolutely no defense. The bouncers meanwhile couldn’t stop the guy because they were holding on so tight. So this guy got a completely free shot in and then just ran away. It was a severely brutal punch and could only be described as “epic”.

So yeah, this gallery has a lot of crazy things in it, but I missed a lot of great stuff too. You should probably look at the photos anyway.

Okay, so I had not heard about this Hipster Grifter thing until today when a friend sent me four naked photos of a tattooed Asian girl. If you aren’t up on this story either, this girl has been scamming dudes out of tons of money and was discovered when she interviewed at Vice to be a wanted con artist. Anyway, maybe you guys know about her, I am sure a bunch of you actually know her. Her name is Kari Ferrell and you get to see her naked today. A friend of mine sent me these images today. Evidently his friend got scammed by her, but he got these photos. As far as I know they haven’t been posted anywhere yet. So this might be breaking news or something. Finally, we are here. Exactly one month to the day since I left for South By Southwest I am done. This is my last gallery from SXSW 2009 and we end with a bang. Kanye West.

There were all sorts of rumors about Kanye playing the Fader Fort on the last day of SXSW. A few hours before he went on I got confirmation that he was playing. Unfortunately my girl Heidi’s band Trash Yourself was playing across town at the same time and fuck if I was going to miss them. So I blew off Kanye and went to see Trash Yourself. I am glad I did, cause I like TY so much that I got them to come to New York for a few shows next week. Get excited.

Anyway, I completely lucked out and Kanye showed up at the Perez party as a special guest replacement for Lady Sov. I was standing right there when he walked in and I completely blew the shot. I hung around him trying to get a shot until his bouncer threatened me. I have now had the pleasure to be physically threatened by both Kanye West and Paris Hilton’s body guards… Go me. He just hung out by the stage for a few sets and then he finally went on. People went fucking insane. It was really cool to see him, and I got some good shots before the smoke machines kicked in and fucked up my shots. I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I wasn’t so damn tired, and he went a bit easier on the autotuning. If I want to hear a robot sing I will go see Daft Punk. I watched most of his set from the back because I was too tired to deal with a crowd, but it was still a great fucking show and a good way to end my SXSW. I can’t wait for next year.

I have never seen any one play so many fake instruments outside of a noise show… Little Boots plays all sorts of crazy electronic instruments that I would not have been surprised to see her rock a theremin. She did it with style though and it is pretty clear that she has a lot of musical talent. She also happens to be completely adorable, totally photogenic and she can sing her ass off. These are things I like when taking photos. I have watched several youtube videos of her since I saw her at the Perez party and I have to say I am a bit taken with her. I hope to shoot her again. When she was done with her set Kid Cudi showed up and the two of them covered his song Day ‘N‘ Night which apparently she didn’t know the words to. It was pretty awesome except the bouncer wouldn’t let the photographers back in front of the stage so I had to shoot from the side, so there aren’t really any good shots of that. Okay, just one more set to go and I am done with SXSW… Be back in an hour…

First things first: Yes, I wore a wetsuit to Cain.  This bondage model (Nyssa Nevers) I met at a porn convention was in town and came over to my place after shooting with Ellen Stagg.  We shot the day before (photos coming soon) and I invited her to Cain.  She was in Williamsburg so we split a cab.  Before we left she asked me if I had any clothes she could wear because she didn’t have time to change and wasn’t dressed to go out.  I jokingly suggested she wear one of the wetsuits I own.  My brother and I used to water ski when we were kids and this summer I found our wetsuits in a closet. Anyway, she told me she would wear it if I wore mine.  So we did, and it was amazing.  I may never wear anything else again.  Everyone kept rubbing me.  My dick was touched slightly more than I would have liked, but what can you do?

Okay, nextly, it was Jerold’s birthday so things were more out of control than normal.  He poured a bottle of champaign on me because I was in the wet suit and it would be fine… Unfortunately my camera was not wearing a wetsuit and is quite sticky.  Later someone poured champaign on him and again I was caught in the line of fire… fortunately I got some pretty good pictures out of it.  So, happy birthday Jerold… Speaking of birthdays, my little brother turned 26 today which makes me too fucking old for this shit.

The night was pretty crazy.  The gallery is not safe for work.  There was madness everywhere.  It was probably the most fun I have had at Playhouse yet, which says a lot considering that it is currently my favorite party in the city.  And usually when I am having a lot of fun I take great pictures and tonight was no exception.  There are easily a dozen that could have made the front page… I narrowed it down to a scant eight… And, no there aren’t any photos of me in my wet suit, you will have to find those somewhere else.

Do you guys think I over use ellipses or the word anyway more?  Anyway…

Solange Knowles is a beautiful woman who can sing her ass off just like another woman you might have heard of… her sister Beyoncé.  The difference is Beyoncé doesn’t have banana pants.  Score one for Solange.  Seriously though, the lady has some pipes.  I would be her Jay-Z any day.  These are actually probably my favorite of the shots I took at the Perez party, so I hope you enjoy them.

We are getting close to the end of the SXSW photos… I am going to be sad when it’s all over… I have four galleries left, all from the Perez Hilton One Night In Austin party. The first of which is of French disco queen Yelle.

Yelle was actually the headliner of the Perez event which ended up lasting way longer than I expected. With surprise apperences by Kid Cudi and Kanye West the show ran real late. By the time we got to Yelle I was so ready to fall over. Keep in mind this was the last night of SXSW and I was averaging about 3 hours of sleep all week. I had to see her though so I stuck it out.

She was awesome as expected but I think I was too tired to take photos cause when I looked at these I realized I didn’t really get any shots that I was that happy with. Not that they are terrible or anything, but they just weren’t that on point, which is too bad cause her outfit is fucking amazing.

Inked Magazine editor Jason Buhrmester just published his first book, Black Dogs.  In 1973 someone stole $203,000 from the hotel Led Zeppelin was staying at during a 3 show stand in NYC.  The crime was never solved.  Buhrmester wrote a fictional account of how the money was stolen.  The party was at Angles and Kings and I covered it for Inked.  Unfortunately because of this, they stole all they good photos for print including shots of some of the New York hardcore scene celebs in attendance.  Still, there is some fun stuff here including Jason getting punched, people getting wasted on free Jack and PBR and a couple ladies getting naked with the book.  NSFW.

 I have been intentionally quiet about politics on this blog for a while.  I felt that we needed a break after all the pre-election posts I did.  And frankly you don’t need a rant from a party blogger to tell you how to think.  But I have been watching clips of that fucking worthless fuck Glenn Beck recently and he makes me want to throw my computer through a fucking wall.  I know he is just being outrageous to get viewers… after someone passed out on his show he gloated about the high ratings it would cause… but I you have to think that he believes at least some of the ignorant bullshit he is spewing.  These crazy right wingers are just saying things that aren’t true.  Like, they are just making shit up.  They are like parodies of McCarthy era red scare types.  They keep screaming about socialism and stuff… Glenn Beck is screaming about how he wishes Obama would just kill him now instead of ruining his life.  I seriously can’t get through 5 minutes of him speaking.

So all these idiots are spending today protesting high taxes and socialism today by holding these tea parties.  I am sure you have read about them… They are trying to remind people of how the American revolutionaries threw English  tea into the Boston Harbor to protest taxation without representation. I would get into how fucking retarded that is, but fortunately I don’t have to because MSNBC’s David Schuster did it for me.  Homoerotic tea bagging jokes aside this video spells out EXACTLY what I have been thinking about these protests.  Thanks David, you are my hero.
