Okay, so I forgot about NSFW Fridays and Mondays while I was in Texas. I decided to date this post Friday since I didn’t update on Friday and in the grand historical record of my site, it will look like I actually remembered to post some n00dz. Although I guess if you are reading this, it is clear that I did this days in the future and that I took some mediocre photos and hid them several posts back. Whoops.

Anyway, on my friend Riana’s birthday we shot some half naked photos of her. Unfortunately we did not get very far before she fell down and cut up her back on a rusty pipe. So on Valentines Day a while back we went into the same bathroom and tried again. Still no nipples, still pretty drunken, and still pretty mediocre shots, but she’s a pretty sexy girl so I wanted to get them up. I am just uploading them in the same gallery as the ones from her birthday.

Two of my favorite Austinites, and possibly two of my favorite people ever, were dumb enough to get my logo on them today.  I was hanging out with my old roommate and hero Michael “Smoke Bomb” Kristoph who now lives in Austin and is letting me sleep on his couch during South By Southwest and my second biggest internet crush Chelsea. We were sitting around a bar joking about bad tattoos, and Chelsea just called her tattoo friend and they got the logo 10 minutes later.  The tattoos were done by Matt Morren at Dandyland Tattoo on 6th St in Austin.  He is my new best friend.  He drew ball hairs on Chelsea’s logo and lightning bolts on Michael’s.  Also Dandyland is amazing because two years ago they sold me a new lip ring for like two dollars and one of the dudes working there has a Mishka tattoo and complimented my new Jordan’s.  How is that for a link filled post? Amazing.

It is not every day you meet a girl this hot who is willing to get naked for no reason. I met Brooklyn at the Backseat Film Festival last weekend in Philly. Somehow someone convinced her to do Strip For Pain when my girl Nicole couldn’t get off work in time. After the insane event, she and I tried to find a place to shoot but people kept coming in. I was looking for the keys to a storage room when we ducked into the back office and shot her on a huge stack of PBR cases. Unfortunately it was pitch black in the office and it made it impossible for either of us to see what we were doing. Plus we had been looking for a good location for like 15 minutes, people kept coming in the office and her boyfriend seems moderately upset with the whole thing… Not because he minded her doing a naked photo shoot I think, but because we were taking too long and he wanted to smoke. Then again, that’s pure speculation, but I either way I find it hard to shoot when people are watching and I rushed it. Fortunately for all of us, she wants to come to NYC when I get back and do a real shoot to make up for this shitty one. Also fortunate, for you guys at least, was that she got sick and couldn’t come up BEFORE I went to Texas so you get to see the mediocre pictures now, and then the good ones later. I was going to scrap this set all together, but Brooklynn is so ridiculously hot that I needed to at least tease you guys with these while I am in Texas. Truthfully I really just want her to move in with me and bare my children, but I think I am okay settling for some better photos.

Okay so I got some new Jordans and I like blogging about the shoes I get so there is a picture below.  But the main point of this post is a little site update. I spent an insane amount of time doing my taxes and getting shirts ready to send out and I have not started packing for SXSW.  My insurance company is fucking me to the wall and I have to deal with that tomorrow.  Then I go to Texas and I have no idea what my blogging situation is going to be.  So, let me tell you this.  This site may be slow to update over the next 7 days, but I am going to have some great shots from Austin, so at least get excited for that.  N00dz update tomorrow then I am out of town.  Speaking of N00dz, if you are a girl who wants to be naked on my website, and you are going to SXSW, drop me a line.  Let’s be productive.

As you may or may not know I shot Mishka’s spring 2009 lookbook.  They were super stressed during the lookbook planning/shoot because at the same time they were getting ready to open their new store.  Well, it’s finally open.  Yesterday they had their grand opening sale/party.  All day they had crazy limited releases and fun things.  Then at 7 they threw a party that eventually moved across the street Trophy Bar.  The store just happens to be 3 blocks from my apartment in southside Williamsburg so of course I had to stop by.  I used it as a chance to shoot some photos without my flash.  I should have brought a faster lens, but I didn’t really think about it.  Still, I think there are a couple nice shots.

Anyway, the new Mishka flagship store is at 350 Broadway.  It is basically at Broadway and Keap.  It is one block from the Hewes JMZ, three blocks from the Broadway G and 9 blocks from the Lorimer L.  Get on it and click click click to see the pictures.

As far as I can tell Vampiro: Angel, Devil, Hero hasn’t really played much in the United States.  Most of their press quotes are from Canada and a lot of them are out of date.  When I saw the film at the Backseat Film Festival I was one of only four people in the audience and I got in for free.

Vampiro is a bad name for a documentary film about a Canadian born wrestler who became a star in Mexico.  It happens to be the name of the wrestler, but I would venture that with a name change, and a better publicist this film would be the talk of the town.  This should have played at Sundance.  Vampiro was easily the best film I have seen in 2009.  It was completely depressing that they couldn’t sell a few more tickets.  People need to be talking about this movie so I figured I would start.

Did you see the Wrestler?  I did.  It was great right?  Mickey Rourke was amazing…  Well you know who else was amazing in a film this year?  Ian Hodgkinson.  He is the man behind the make up.  He is the former drug addict, former stick up kid, former Milli Vanilli bodyguard turned Mexican Wrestling Superstar.  The movie is the story of Hodgkinsons attempt at starting a new promotion company on the eve of their first televised event.  As the film moves closer to the telecast it flashes back to the last year of his life that is setting up this one big night.  Also inter spliced are interviews with friends and former friends.  The story tells the tale of a man who despite a history of sexual abuse and living on the streets as a criminal and drug addict through sheer determination became one of the biggest stars in a country thousands of mines from his home in Canada.  He gave up a possible pro hockey career to try to make it as a wrestler which led him down a long strange path from Canada, to the streets, to Los Angeles and finally to the country he now calls his home.  22 years after he began, he is on the verge of retiring, trying to get into promotions so he can stop brutalizing his body night after night.  Not unlike in the Wrestler his doctor has told him he needs to retire or face an early grave.  Not unlike the Wrestler his family life is in big trouble.  But unlike Mickey Rourke’s character, Vampiro finds time to spend with his daughter and some how perseveres.  I would be very surprised if the Wrestler was not in some way inspired by either this film or just Vampiro’s life story.  There are too many similarities.  And as much as I love Mickey Rourke (Anyone have Barfly on DVD? Netflix hasn’t had it in two years.) I think Ian Hodgkinson could have had just as moving performance.  When the first tear drops from Vampiro’s face there was not a dry eye in the house…  All 8 of them.  This movie needs to be seen, it is a tragedy that it hasn’t been so far.

Another Friday, another set of n00dz.  I had been trying to shoot the Burning Angel model Azrael Arden forever.  The first time I met her we were about to shoot when she found out that her car was towed and she had to go deal with that.  The second time we tried to shoot was in a crowded club and she got really claustrophobic or something and just disappeared.  Then after this porn exxpo in NJ she was exhausted from signing autographs for 3 days straight.  Finally I ran into her in Philly at the Backseat Film Festival.  The Festival is held in Backseat’s own theater the 941 Theater.  It is a really cool place and they let us shoot in the projection booth.  We did this set really fast because I was late to meet a friend, and all her friends were trying to get her to leave.  That’s why there are several different light set ups in these photos.  I just kept trying stuff until I got something I kinda liked but by that time it was pretty much time to go so we didn’t reshoot anything so I just posted the earlier stuff I wasn’t as into so you would get to see more naked photos of Azrael.  That’s just the type of guy I am.  Also, these photos are a little bit more Not Safe For Work than normal, so be warned.  She took off her pants the second we walked into the booth.  So check them all out here, you won’t be sorry.

Playhouse was sort of nuts last night.  I don’t really know what to say that is different from past weeks, but the party is always crazy.  People just get destroyed at around 3am, weird things happen.  Lots of making out, lots of dirty dancing, lots of skin… I am going to go eat dinner, so let’s just let these photos speak for themselves.  There is a little bit of birthday nipples, so happy birthday Katie and the gallery is therefore NSFW. Dig it.

After the premiere of Minghags at the Backseat Film Festival there was going to be a Jackass themed Strip For Pain, but it got off to a late start and most of the CKY kids were gone. Minghags co-producer/c0-director/c0-writer Joseph Frantz helped Doug Sakmann guest host. My girl Nicole (and Burning Angel) couldn’t get off work on time and they wanted to get the event started early so they pulled some girls out of the crowd to help my buddy (and Burning Angel) Azrael Arden strip and cause pain. One of them was a girl named Brooklyn who was just retardedly hot. After it was over she let me shoot some photos of her naked in the office standing on cases of PBR. Unfortunately it was rushed and I am a mediocre photographer so the photos kinda sucked. I have been trying to get her to come to NYC to shoot with me again, but it will probably have to wait until I get back from SXSW.

Anyway, this Strip For Pain was particularly brutal. Neither guy won the contest (prize being a lifetime of porn from Hotmovies.com) but they both took so much pain that they got some pretty good lap dances from three naked girls. There was a Jackass inspired pain where one of the guys got a shopping cart repeatedly slammed into his balls, they had to burn the hair off their arms, were dipped in ice cold water and of course flailed until skin was hanging off their backs. It was a good time. Hopefully some of this footage is going to end up on Jackassworld.com, cause it was pretty nuts.
