My friend Bianca came over to my house a while ago and we stayed up all night sitting on my bed listening to my records and despite my best efforts she refused to make out with me. She did however let me take a few half naked photos of her because the light in my room looked really amazing. I didn’t plan on ever putting these up because they didn’t really fit into anything. I didn’t take enough to make a gallery, and I didn’t shoot them at a party or anything. They have just been sitting on my desktop gathering dust. And FYI these photos are intentionally ugly, she is actually a remarkably handsome woman. I took four photos and I am posting two below and if you click those two below, they open up to another photo. So if you click them, you can see all four… if that makes any sense.

In my life I have listened to a lot of music. Most of it is very up tempo and aggressive. I like music with great energy. I dig the anger of punk, the beat of hip hop and the dancability of electro… Once in a while though, I like to just sit back and relax. I need music to make out to. I touched boobs for the first time while listening to Bleach by Nirvana, which of course was awesome, but it’s not quite the same thing as making out on a bed listening to Marvin Gaye. I am very picky about my R&B. I am not a huge Motown fan and with the exception of R Kelly I don’t listen to any modern R&B. That being said there are a few artists, most of whom had been making hits for decades, made s super smooth seductive songs of the 70’s blow my mind. It is been a while since I had been to Ruff… they got a new stamp! Anyway, I had a lot of fun and I actually stayed there all night. I sort of think I will go back next week and see if I can double up. Met a bunch of cool people and danced some and practiced bouncing my flash which I never do. I had some success, but its a bit hit and miss for me. I would rather be consistent than get one or two great shots at the sacrifice of others. Then again practice makes perfect. Anyway, I took a lot of photos, look at them here.

Pete Holmes is funny.  Really funny.  I watch a lot of stand-up and he makes me cry almost every time.  On Wednesday I asked him if I could record his set.  He said yes.  He was pretty out of control.  I laughed my ass off as you can hear on the tape.  It is a two-parter as it is about 13 minutes long.  His energy is something that you need to see live but I hope you can dig it as much as we  did.

Jim Jarmusch is one of my favorite directors and one of his regular character actors was New York native, Rockets Redglare. Rockets was a criminal a drug addict and at times weighed more than 600 pounds… he was also adored by many, many people. His friend Luis Fernandez de la Reguera decided to make a documentary about his life called, strangely enough, Rockets Redglare!. The movie mostly consists of Rockets telling insane, fucked up and mostly horribly upsetting stories about his life and interviews with his friends talking about how much they love him and how much they worry about him. Rockets had many many problems, but was also very talented and it killed his friends to see him throw his life away on drugs and alcohol. I think most of us can relate to this story. I have a number of close friends who have wasted their talents because of some sort of addiction. The film is wonderful but pretty hard to get a hold of. The movie was released in 2003 but was not properly distributed which led to a law suit which de la Reguera and Steve Buscemi recently won. De la Reguera died in a motorcycle accident before the suit was settled, but I have heard that Buscemi is going to use the 1.75 million dollar settlement to promote and rerelease the film. If you get a chance to see it, I highly recommend it. It is pretty fucking unbelievable.

Last night I went to a Christmas house party and then I had to go into the city to return The Point and Rockets Redglare! that I borrowed from Mike as per an earlier post.  I meant to get on the L but I was not really thinking and I got on the J because it was right next to the Christmas party.  I realized my error pretty much as soon as I got on the train.  Because of this I decided to go to Lit for a little bit before I made my way up to Beauty Bar to return the DVDs.  I wasn’t there for very long but I had some fun and took some sexy photos of my friend Daniela that will probably go up in a few days.  Like I mentioned yesterday, I like to spread out the nudity… or in this case the semi-nudity.  Anyway, I am going to see one of my favorite musicals, Footlight Parade in thirty minutes so I am going to make this quick.  Check out the photos from last night.  Enjoy the middle photo below.  If you have not met me before it is the closest photo ever taken that looks most like what I look like.  If that makes any sense.

You met her the other day and I promised we were going to shoot on Wednesday. Well we did. We went to the Wednesday night comedy show at Rififi and then snuck into the back room to use the bathroom after the show was over. We took a ton of photos and then went over to Beauty Bar cause High Voltage is on a short break. Her and Xochielt and Mike and I sort of took over the back of Beauty Bar and caused a ruckus that will not be forgotten soon. There was nudity and violence and broken glass and jumping and dancing and chaos. I will have some photos of the three of them going crazy in a while. Weird things are happening in my life.  I think that the next week or two is going to be slow around here.  I am going to make sure I post twice a day, but I am not going to be shooting a whole lot.  I am going out of town for a few days and I don’t know how much stuff I can get done.  I may put up a bunch of old video that I haven’t messed with yet.  I taped a Pete Holmes set last night and it was really great so as soon as I find the firewire cord to my camera I will get that online.

I have like three nudes sets to go up, but I want to spread them out a little bit.  One is going up today… I am thumb-nailing photos as we speak. I had a pretty crazy night last night, but I didn’t take too many photos and the ones I did take were naked and I might get yelled at for posting them… I gotta get some permissions and stuff first.  I was at Michael Stewart of Beauty Bar fame until like 7AM or something and he gave me some movies to watch.  I am currently watching The Point which is this weird children’s movie/ Harry Nilsson music video narrated by Ringo Starr.  It is pretty fucking weird.  Check it out while I try to get my shit together and get up these nudie pix.
