Connie Perignon

Okay it’s been a minute since my last proper update on this site. Unfortunately my website has been having some issues and honestly I don’t know what I am doing enough to fix it. Trying to figure that all out but for now I am just gonna try and do a better job of updating it while I can. As I mentioned in my NSFW last post, I shot eight galleries when I was in Vegas way back in January so I have a lot of content to get up. I also shot a ton of film that I am just finally getting around to getting developed. I kept thinking I was going to get to NYC this spring but flights got so expensive and I didn’t have a real reason to go back so I finally just mailed my rolls back to my old photo lab. You can keep me shooting film by sponsoring one of the rolls and in exchange you get to see all the photos from that roll and then you get to pick your favorite and I send you a signed print of it. You could even get a print of Connie Perignon.

This post is of course about the photo shoot I did in Vegas with Connie but I had to get all that out of the way before I talked about these photos. I met Connie way back in 2020 via Tinder of all places. She wasn’t a porn star back then and we never ended up hanging out but I followed her on socials and it was cool to see her absolutely blow up in the adult industry. We suddenly had a bunch of mutuals and I finally met her IRL at a party I shot for my old friend, the amazing photographer, Ellen Stagg. I ran into her again at AVN last year and when I was heading out there this year I hit her up again about taking some photos.

She was down to shoot and had some free time during the day because she decided not to sign at the convention. We made a plan to shoot at my hotel across the street but right then I had to help another model I photographed get a pass to the convention. She showed up late and I was scrambling to get her this pass while Connie was just sitting in the lobby of my hotel. I basically sprinted across the street and was in full panic mode because I hate being late, but she was just chilling and was not even slightly bothered I made her wait, which I really appreciated.

The light in my hotel room sucked but I used the one window in there to backlight her and we played with the curtains and all that stuff which was honestly a staple of my old AVN shoots. I haven’t done any shoots like that in a while and I kinda forgot how nice they look. It might not be my most original work but as you can see Connie is an absolute babe and I think they came out pretty well. I can’t wait to see the film we shot as well because it was one of only two daytime shoots I did at AVN and you know I prefer some natural light.

Maya Rue

Last month when I was in Las Vegas covering the AVN Awards week I did six NSFW photo shoots and of course I decided I needed to spread them out because I don’t know any naked people in North Carolina so I gotta stack content and then give it to you guys every few weeks until I go on another trip (I should be back in LA fairly soon). That being said, I didn’t mean to wait this long to give you some photos from the trip… in fact, these photos of been up on Girls of Driven By Boredom for over a week. I was all ready to post them here but then Robert Duvall died and I wanted to write a post about my relationship with him but that post took a few days and then I was suddenly, inexplicably, locked out of my website for a few days and now here we are, finally back here, ready to share some fun pictures with you guys.

So meet Maya Rue. I met her at AVN two years ago totally randomly. I was at some insane party at some weed company’s Vegas mansion or something and I was photographing someone I just met topless on a basketball court when this cute porn star started peeing next to us. I jokingly pointed my camera at her and she told me to actually take the photo so I did and she gave me her IG account so I could send her the photo. That was pretty much our only interaction but her posts have appeared in my life over the last two years and I honestly just became a fan of her outspoken left wing political beliefs. She also happens to be really hot and makes music so what’s not to like?

Anyway, I ran into her in Vegas and I was like “hey I met you at that party two years ago and I took that photo of you peeing” and she was like “that photo is my Venmo photo!” which is honestly incredible. Anyway, we scheduled a shoot on the last day of the AVNs which I try never to do because people are flaky as hell when you are partying for four days straight so I try and get people to shoot as soon as possible. In fact, two other people flaked on me that same day. Fortunately for me, Maya did not flak even though she was super sick. I thought I had a good location but it fell through so we ended up walking back to my hotel. I had already done two shoots there so I wasn’t really sure what we were gonna do, but I knew I would make it work.

Not only did we make it work but we did three shoots! We shot on the couch, in a bathtub and on one of the bed. I think this one is my favorite of the three but they are all great. Turns out Maya is an incredible model and fun to shoot with even though she was super sick. I kinda feel like we killed it even though the lighting in the hotel room sucks. I can’t wait to see the 35mm stuff we shot with flash. I deeply want to shoot her again with natural light and fortunately she lives in NYC and I am there all the time so hopefully that will happen soon.

The first of the three shoots is up on Girls of DBB now, and it’s extra spicy because she wanted that kinda content for her OnlyFans and who am I to say no?

New Years Eve 2008 – 12.31.07

Making some actual New Years Resolutions this year and one of those things is updating this site more, primarily the Vintage DBB stuff. My plan was to drop a new, completely re-edited gallery every Thursday but that is so overwhelming and took so long and I think that’s why I stopped updating as much. A lot of shit happened in my life as well and I should hopefully have a little more time now, but my main plan is just to not edit as much. I pulled over 200 photos from this gallery and I just batch brightened them in Lightroom and then came back and fixed the ones that were way too over exposed. It took me less than ten minutes instead of over an hour. At least they are in much higher resolution now. Here’s hoping I update with Vintage DBB posts at least a couple of times a month going forward.

Anyway, let’s get into it. I used to only drink twice a year (now I drink never), NYE and my birthday, and this particular NYE was a blur. I barely remember it, luckily I have an offline copy of my archives so I can go back and read about that night. Apparently the reason I got so drink is because I took six shots in 45 minutes before I even got to Don Hills for the big Rated X/ Trash/ Burning Angel collaboration party.

If you weren’t there for all this, Trash was my favorite Friday night party hosted by friend DJ Jess (and Alex and Twig) but Jess was the first person to ever pay me to take photos in NYC and he died a decade ago now and I miss him all the time still. Rated X was a Saturday night party hosted by Michael T, Theo Kogan and Peppermint. It was famous for being a “no pants” party where they had a coat check for pants and you could get discounted drinks if you were pants free. They also were home to the infamous hot body contest which we will get to in a second. The party was hosted by the Brooklyn based alt porn site Burning Angel and Joanna Angel herself. She did some burlesque and helped host, but she also brought a bunch of her girls with her including my good pals Jessie Lee and Draven. My friend Apathy did a burlesque performance as well.

The hot body contest was absolutely wild that night thanks to Jessie and Draven. I uploaded all the photos of them to my paysite Girls of DBB. I tried not to post photos of people who looked wasted or were sort of being bashful about it, but there are 80 NSFW photos up there, mostly of the Burning Angel crew. There are some random people also pulling a titty out which was apparently a thing everyone just did back then. In my original notes from that night I said “The next couple hours were pretty much a blur… A lot of boobs and kissing people and trying not to puke.” What a time to be alive.

Apparently I left the party at 5am, which was probably hours before Don Hills actually kicked everyone out. I was pretty drunk and it’s hard to take photos when you have a drink in one hand as it is, so take that for what it’s worth. It was also a few months before I got a pro digital camera, but the chaos and the fun still shine though and I think you guys will really dig these despite the mid photography.

Leda Returns

It’s weird doing “X Model Returns” posts when I have wiped my entire archived on here, but if it makes you feel better, all my old NSFW photos are still up on Girls of Driven By Boredom including multiple shoots with Leda Bear. The last time I was in LA she was somehow the only person I shot actual NSFW photos of. I shot some pretty damn sexy photos of Anastasiya (I still have more of her to come) and I did a shoot with a musician named Riki for Creem Magazine and I got that in the mail today so I can post those soon too. But the only actual nudity I encountered on my trip was care of Leda.

Leda rules and even though she’s pretty much retired from being a naked person on the internet she was still down to shoot. Last time we took photos together it was back in 2021 and we shot a bunch of photos on her very pink bed and then we got some food and I took this shot of her I holding her leftovers, mask on cause you know that whole Covid thing. Some of my favorite photos of all time were of her and Aiden Ashely back in 2020 right before the pandemic when we went to this former military base in San Pedro, CA and took photos and then went down to the beach and took photos of them climbing cliffs nude. Seriously love those photos (go find them on Girls of DBB.)

This time we took photos in her room again, but they are a very different vibe. As you probably know by now I love photographing people in their spaces and I really appreciate people who let me shoot them in their messy rooms in just living their real lives, just maybe with the sex appeal turned up a tiny bit. All I wanted to be was a documentarian, but nudes pay better than journalism so here we are.

This is all a bit rambling but I gotta move in two weeks and I haven’t started packing yet and there’s still contractors in the new house and today the electrician just basically gave up and said he would be back eventually so that’s promising. Meanwhile the painters told me they couldn’t finish painting until a drywall guy showed up so they left and won’t be back until Monday. I wish someone told me that buying a house was a huge pain in the ass (oh wait, literally everyone told me that).

Dylan Moore In The Streets

These photos have been a long time coming. I took these photos of Dylan Moore way back in October of 2023. My life was completely different back then. I was still living in NYC and I had no idea my landlord was about to raise my rent 40% in a few months and I would be “forced” to move to the beach in North Carolina. Dylan and I took photos in her hotel room and while we were shooting I mentioned this location that I had always wanted to use but never got the chance to do it right. She was down and off we went to Brooklyn.

At some point in the mid 2010s I was walking around my neighborhood in South Williamsburg and noticed this weird path that went behind the Peter Luger parking lot. I had no idea what was back there so I followed it and it was this hidden little spot next to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway where homeless people hung out and did heroin. Needles and caps littered the whole area, but I saw potential…

In early 2017 I was photographing my friend Ali Weiss for my book Instaxxx and I thought about that secret spot. It was winter and snow was on the ground so I knew no one would be hanging out there and we went back there and took some photos. Ali had never done nude modeling before so the photos were pretty tame, but I really loved them. I just knew one day I would get back there again.

A couple of time I tried to do shoots there but they didn’t work out. I had this idea of having a model fully nude laying on the barrier wall between the exit and the BQE. It was a terrifying assignment. You can hide behind the wall to get dressed/undressed but once you are up there you are fully exposed to hundreds of commuters. I knew I would only get one chance to do it so I was picky with models and we would have to find a day where there wouldn’t be a bunch of people shooting up back there. Things just never worked out… until October.

The day I photographed Dylan it was cold and rainy and perfect for this shoot and Dylan was a great model and was super up for it. We got back there and we shot the exact photos I wanted. Right before it started raining. I couldn’t have been happier. After that we went to my second secret spot, this time right off the subway platform. I wanted to shoot from the streets looking up. It was pouring rain and I probably should have brought a longer lens, but we still got some amazing photos of her up there, fully naked, while rain poured down on her.

I decided the first photos I would post of her would be the hotel shots and I wanted to wait a bit before I posted the ones I was really excited about. But then came January 2024 and I saw her in Las Vegas. We took a bunch of crazy photos of her in her fancy Vegas hotel room late at night. I loved these shots too and decided to post them next. They went up shortly after we got back from Vegas.

So why have these photos not gone up in the year and a half since then? I have no idea. I think it’s partly because I haven’t been shooting much down here and I wanted to spread her photos out. I don’t know any naked people in North Carolina and I haven’t been traveling as much as I thought I would. I didn’t go to AVN this year because there was a hotel strike and I didn’t want to cross a picket line, of course the strike ended just days after I canceled my flight. I did a few shoots in NYC but that’s about it. I haven’t been to LA in way too long so I haven’t shot anyone there, but this weekend I am gonna be in LA and I realized I still haven’t posted these, and it’s time.

Now, the big problem here is that every one of these photos is NSFW and I am no longer posting proper nudity to my site. As I have mentioned before we live in a puritanical nightmare and nipples are against the law now. So if you want to see these photos you have to go to the Girls of Driven By Boredom site and pay a small fee. But the good news is that if you do, not only will you see these photos, plus the two other shoots I did with Dylan, but you will also see literally hundreds of other NSFW photo shoots.
