I have a solo set of this girl Raven that is pretty amazing and I showed you the sneak peak at Remi the other day. Then I just need to edit the photos of Kati or convince some people to let me put sets that are on back order…

Anyway, I met Raven in Orlando when I came to town shortly after Winter Music Conference. This girl let me sleep at her house and Raven was her roommate. She was laying on the bed with us in just a t-shirt and tiny shorts and I sort of fell in love. A few weeks later I found out she was a Gods Girl and I contacted her about shooting when I came to Miami. She was really excited about it and made the trip with her best friend Mickey who is also a Gods Girl. They are both pretty adorable. They picked me up from the airport and we went straight to my hotel to shoot. Tragically when I pulled out my camera I instantly dropped it, destroying the lens. It was pretty late at night but we were told of a Ritz Camera that would still be open at the largest outlet mall in the US. So we got lost on the way there, tried to go to a bunch of random stores, failed at that and finally ended up in the mall. Raven’s phone had died so I asked to get Mickey’s number incase I couldn’t find them on the way out of the mall. I ran in, got a new lens and then went out a different entrance. I called them with the new location and asked them to meet me near the Neiman Marcus. 5 min later they weren’t there, then ten. I called them, no answer. It turned out Mickey’s phone died too. I was stranded. About 45 minutes later Raven found me. Evidently they had been looking for me at ANOTHER Neiman Marcus entrance. This place was so fucking big. Raven was in the car but Mickey was still searching for me on foot. About ten minutes later we found her and made it back in time just to shoot Raven.

The next day they came back to do a group set, the photos in this gallery, and then as payment for being good models I was going to shoot them a set specifically for Gods Girls so they could get paid. I did Mickey’s really quick and then I ran down to the pool to borrow a friends underwater camera. I shot Raven naked in the hotel pool while dozens of people watched. They camera was just a point and shoot but some how the shots looked amazingly hot. The only problem was I couldn’t get the images off the camera and I had to wait until my friend could send them to me. Two days later I got an email from him. A wave hit him and he lost the camera in the ocean the very next day. What a fucking disaster.

I have had a crush on Draven forever, I mean, who hasn’t? She is one of the most adorable of the many adorable Burning Angels.  I have shot her naked a bunch of times but never for an official gallery.  Finally during the final moments of the Pretty In Pink party on Saturday I pulled her back stage at Public Assembly and shot 112 photos of her in about 5 minutes.  After editing, there are 38 left, rejoice.  Draven also lives in one of my favorite cities on Earth, Baltimore.  Despite my firm hatred for the Baltimore Ravens, growing up in DC, Baltimore was like a second home as during my teen years as we were driving up there every other weekend for punk shows.  Anyway, that is totally unrelated to how hot these NSFW photos of Draven are.

Jessie Lee invited me out to her monthly party Pretty In Pink at Public Assembly in Williamsburg.  The first one was done for her birthday and it was quite the success so they decided to keep doing it.  This is the third one and it was packed as well.  When I got there this band played that I won’t mention.  The reason I won’t mention them is because I was hanging out with this girl a few months ago and she told me that the lead singer of the band told her that he used to hang out with me or something and that I was a scum bag.  Yet I don’t think I have ever seen him until last night.  The only reason I knew it was him was because I recognized his name.  Anyway, fuck that.

So it was a release party for Burning Angel’s new porn Big Boobs Are Cool 2 and there were some lovely naked people there and some  burlesque and the like.   So clearly these photos are going to wind up being NSFW.

Okay, that’s my only update for the weekend.  I am as always annoyingly busy and have not slept much.  But at least the Dolphins won today, and that was amazing.   Oh yeah, I puled one of the Burning Angel’s back stage and shot a gallery of her, so look for that tomorrow.

The Disco Down/ Six Six Sick battle rages on at Happy Endings.  I haven’t shot there in a little bit for some reason although I feel like I’ve at least made a few appearances.  It is always fun and the other night was no exception.  I am trying to think if anything specifically interesting happened but I am afraid I had a pretty uneventful evening.  There are some nice photos of it anyway.

So okay, this is super weird. I am a really big fan of this site 23/6.com. They are an off shoot of Huff Po. It is satirical political blog that I found because some comedians I used to see all the time did videos for it. Eugene Mirman does political coverage, John Benjamin does fake Swift Boat ads and John Glaser… well John Glaser is just a weird, weird man. They also have animated Get Your War On comics which are pretty mind blowing. Oh and Bobby Tisdale and Joe Mandy do videos too… Lots of East Village regulars…

Anyway after the election I sort of steered clear of politics in general. This week I drove from Richmond to DC and back listening to right wing talk radio the whole way for some reason so I am back into it a bit. I guess I need to give a fuck who the Secretary of Commerce is all of a sudden. I guess that is the price you pay when your team wins. I know who the back up left guard is for the Miami Dolphins, I guess I should be able to defend the questionable choice of retaining Robert Gates as Secretary Of Defense some how…

Okay, the point is I checked 23/6 for the first time in a few weeks and I was catching up on videos and I saw this video where you had to guess if a person was a pornstar or a Democrat based only on a close up picture of a mustache. I have to tell you I was not doing well. In fact I got everyone wrong until I noticed a specific mustache… “That’s Ron Jeremy!” I exclaimed to no one in particular. I was right, but when they pulled back and showed the full photo I realized why I recognized it. I took the photo! It was pretty amazing, although it is on his Wikipedia page, so I guess that is where they got it. They didn’t credit me though, and I was in a strangely litigious mood (I am in the process of taking someone to small claims court) and I emailed them to complain about this. They were very cool about it, apologized and added my credit to the video.

Now admittedly this blog is long and rambling, but we are finally getting to the pay off, the money shot as Mr. Jeremy might say. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you… Democrat Or Pornstar: Mustache Edition!

Well I had a relaxing few days away from the computer and my camera.  I went to DC for Thanksgiving and then to Richmond for a photo shoot and to watch football with some friends of mine.  The Dolphins are back in the playoff picture and the shoot came out pretty well… It also came out pretty green.  The thing is, I decided to use a weird color balance with fluorescent lights which made everything in the shoot green.  It looked really good in my camera, but when I dumped everything it was just too much, and since I suck at photoshop, I figured I will just put up one now that I spent a few minutes on and hope that I get you the rest later.  I have a few sets just sitting on my computer because I suck at photoshop…

Also, on an unrelated note, I got suspended from my day job because I came in 45 min late to work last Wednesday.  So I had today and have tomorrow off.  It also means I am one late day away from getting fired and I really hate working in Jersey City, so if anyone has any ideas for a new job, please let me know.  Also, of course I am always looking for photography work of any kind.
