New Published Work

I have a few photos in some things right now.

When I was at the beach the other week I got a call wondering why I hadn’t sent in images from the Jump party for URB Magazine.  They had a 6pm deadline and I hadn’t received the email since I was on the beach.  It was 530PM and I was in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean (Well maybe not quite the middle…) fishing.  They were all flustered and when we got back to shore I rushed to my computer and spent an hour editing all the images they wanted until they were nice and pretty.  My friends were pretty annoyed that we were sitting around instead of enjoying the beach. But I got them done, and they told me they had time to publish them.  A month later, I get a copy and they only used two photos (featuring 3 Burning Angels) in this spread with tons of other parties.  There wasn’t even a write up of the party or anything.  It was mildly disappointing but what can you do.

The next published shot I have was pretty hilarious.  I got an email about a photo on my flickr account a long time ago.   I completely forgot about it and then the other day I get a package from Australia in the mail.  What could this be I wondered?  Well it was a travel magazine called “Get Lost“.  I flipped through it until I recognized a photo of two of my friends making out that I took at Le Royale about a year ago.  They used it for an article about how people from Lesbos were sick of being called Lesbians.  I think that is pretty hilarious, especially because the girls kissing are in no way lesbians (Jamie is about to have a daughter!), but I have to say that the photography in get lost is pretty amazing, so I am at least in good company.

Lastly, we have a photo of Prince Terrence published in his home town paper, the LEO Weekly. He told me he was going to bring me a copy of the paper, but you can read the article on him online, so that is probably good enough.  The LEO didn’t credit me though.  That’s the last time I do them a favor, god damned horse raising, bourbon drinking bastards.
