I am in Austin. I have been hanging out with my old roommate and his band. We took some pictures and saw a pretty sweet movie. The whole thing is been pretty relaxing, I think I am about to take a nap. I am in a hotel watching Gang Wars on the history channel. Hopefully I am going to shoot a Gods Girl later. Good times.

Anyway, things are going to be slow here for a few days, but I think I am going to get to post the XXL shots from last week and I have a video I think I will post tomorrow. So thats that, I miss you already NYC.

Yeah, my Halloween pictures are a bit late, but I have been fucking busy. You need to get over it. In the last few days I have shot the Def Jam 25th anniversary party for XXL, shot this huge gala for NYU with all sorts of huge celebrities, followed around a bunch of Russian tourists documenting their trip for huge wads of cash, shot a full page ad for Friday Jones, threw a tailgate party and have tried to get ready for a 5 day trip to Austin Texas. On top of that I have done my normal every day stuff like shooting Webster Hall and the Fischerspooner thing.  I haven’t slept much, I am fully exhausted and losing my mind, BUT I can now afford my rent, pay my medical bills and get some new stickers made. Fucking sweet.  Unfortunately, I don’t think I can post the XXL or NYU stuff, but maybe I can one day.  I will let you know.

Anyway, on to these pictures.  I was supposed to shoot the Vice party for Vice, but I got this crazy job following the Russians around in their limo shooting pictures of them getting wasted and running around having good times.  But they must still be on Russian time because they were done partying around 130.  I made it to the Vice party just in time to miss the Bad Brains. The party was a mad house and even though I had a wrist band I was told to wait in some long line.  I called my editor at Vice and he told me he would come meet me.  I got a text from him saying he was trying to get me in but there was some crazy violence and just to wait a few min.  10 min later I got a text from him asking me where I was, but before I could respond my phone died.  I looked for him for about 15 minutes and gave up and went with some friends who were headed to Europa for the Fools Gold x Trouble & Bass throw down.

It was super later by the time I got there but it was still kinda banging and I think more people showed up as it got later.  Trouble & Bass were dressed like three little flying pigs and Nick Catchdubs seemed to be insane in the membrane so to speak.  I hung out for a while and met some cool kids in DC which will hopefully give me something to do when I go visit my parents over Thanksgiving. I didn’t shoot a whole lot because I had spent all night shooting Russians and because shooting Halloween is for amateurs. It’s just too easy to get weird stuff. I ended up leaving at what I thought was 430 AM because I had to be up early for the Jets/Dolphins game, but it turns out that there is this whole day light savings thing to contend with and I actually made it home by 4 and was asleep by 530 just in time to get 90 minutes before my tailgate party. Fun times.

Normally I am super apologetic about posting pictures from my geeky DolfansNYC events, but this week is an exception.  We went down to the game in NJ to watch the Dolphins beat the Jets for the second time this year and sent their fans crying home.  We started tailgating at 9am and it was a blast.  We probably had about 40 members out and parked near a few other Phins fans so we did it up.  As someone who doesn’t drink I have never been a big tailgater and spent a lot of the time walking around the parking lot with my friend Sheeva passing out flyers and talking to fellow Dolphins fans.  I only ended up eating two hot dogs because I hadn’t slept due to Halloween the night before and I was pretty much losing my mind.  We had pretty much the worst seats in the stadium in the VERY last row in the far corner, but when we were surrounded by our group of DolfansNYC members, we still had a great time.  The Dolphins ended up winning and I spent most of the next two hours talking to any sad bastard wearing green that I could find.  The Jets fans didn’t have much fight left in them.

Anyway, these pictures are a lot more fun than my normal Dolphins shots, I think they are actually worth checking out this week.  Also, remember when I said I don’t drink… well I don’t but I do have some special beer chugging abilities, and I sort of had to step up to the plate against some rowdy Jets fans…  My completive spirit some times outweighs my personal code.  You will see what I am talking about when I post video of the epic battle later in the week…

Yesterday I had not slept at all, but I was in such a good mood after watching the Dolphins beat the Jets live in person that I just had to go out in celebrate. My friends Jake Destruction and Lauren Flax were DJing the free Fischerspooner afterparty that Asics threw at Le Poisson Rouge so I decided to head over there.  Asics is sponsoring Fisherspooner and they wanted to do some afterparty hang out after their MOMA gig.  I had to miss the show but I hear it was crazy.  I saw pictures of the bands insane costumes that Asics helped create. It was pretty out of control.  The afterparty was a more subdued affair with everyone hanging out and drinking, but once Fischerspooner started DJing people started dancing.  Of course right as things got rowdy I had to call it a night, I was passing out on the couch.  Still it was a good end to a great day despite my total lack of sleep.

So yeah. Trash was pretty crazy on Friday. I am going to run through this quick because I need fucking sleep.

1) Alex and Kate had birthdays. I think they are both awesome, so congrats kids. You are closer to the icy hand of death..

2) Joanna Angel hosted and did some strip tease with porn star Jessie Lee. They got naked an violated themselves. Super not safe for work. As unsafe as anything I have ever posted.

3) They also hosted America’s Top Pornstar contest in which some dude got a lap dance and some other people got some free porn from Burning Angel.

4) Nellie did something weird.

5) My friends are out of their minds and there are some photos at the end of the set of them tackling each other and getting nuts.

I am as busy as I ever have been in my life. I think I am losing my mind. I have had so much work and so little sleep that I thought I was going to puke. Work is a good thing, puking in a cab is not.  So, I am just going to get these Wester Hall Devil’s Night party pictures up quickly and be done with them. I am already way behind.

All you need to know is that it was the day before Halloween and Simian Mobile Disco was spinning and they wouldn’t let anyone on stage… I still took some photos anyway, so click here to see them.
