Yeah, I know. It has taken me a while to get these up. And yes I am injured and yes I did spend all day Saturday at the ER, but I should have had these up earlier, I mean I have just been laying in bed resting my knee. It’s just I am pretty depressed about the whole thing and feeling sort of helpless. I tried to go to Walgreens today and I had to have my neighbor put on my damn shoe for me. Hopefully I am going to have an MRI tomorrow if I can get into see a specialist, but in the mean time I am just laying here hoping that my knee is only badly sprained or twisted and I won’t need surgery.

Anyway, I don’t have much to say about these photos except they are slightly NSFW. Just click here to see them, I am going to lay down. The pictures from the Teddy Blanks show that was also on Friday will be up tomorrow just because I want to spread out the content a bit because I don’t know when I can start shooting again. Adios.

So last night my knee finally gave out. It had been hurting since last Friday night, but yesterday it just decided to stop working. I was at a bodega about to walk home when I just couldn’t walk anymore. I spent all day in the Emergency Room today for no reason. They just told me I had to wait until Tuesday to get an MRI. Fucking wonderful. You can read my twitter for my ER adventures but I did wait with this guy who hit his finger on the side mirror of a car while he was biking. Turns out he was the singer from Choking Victim who I was super into when I was like 16. He’s in Leftover Crack now. Him and his friend seemed like good people. Other than that the only thing I learned today was that I never want to get old. That place was full of old people who were just fucked. Anyway, the point of this update is just to say that I am out of commission for a bit. I have a knee brace and I can barely walk in it. I have three sets of photos from last night, and another update which I will get up when I am feeling a bit better, but at the moment I am just feeling really sorry for myself because I am not going to be able to work. I am already getting close to broke due to a super slow summer. I will be in bed all day tomorrow so I guess I will be updating, but for the moment I am just going to watch a movie and try to get some sleep.

Anyway, moving on…

I am basically a cripple. I have a hurt back, fucked up knee, shin splints and I can’t sleep for more than 3 hours at a time. It is amazing. Last night I was feeling even worse than I am now somehow but I just needed some content so I showed up at Lit and took a few photos. I took bad photos because I was in a terrible mood, and that is how it works, but there were girls doing crazy flexible tricks so I took some photos of that and there are some things at least worth looking at, if you care about photos of drunk people. I guess you must care about photos of drunk people or you would probably be somewhere else on the interwebs.

A few weeks ago I was at Happy Endings for 66Sick and Disco Down and I was standing outside and all of a sudden this guy started screaming.  He didn’t get in the club for some reason.  Happy Endings is not an exclusive place so he either didn’t have his ID or was acting like a drunk asshole.  He went on a 3 minute rant before I realized I needed to pull out my camera.  His tirade was probably the funniest thine I have seen in a year.  He was screaming about how: A) He had been busting his ass for 26 years in the Lower East Side B) He had the number 1, 4 or 5 hit on La Mega or in Philadelphia C) HE HAS A COLLEGE DEGREE! In PR and marketing. When he started talking about his college degree I almost started crying laughing.  Just watch the damn video. Let’s start by saying that things are slow here right now due to the fact that I am suddenly and old man. In the last week I have hurt my back, my knee and I am very slightly sick. I have not been sleeping well and I am trying to get take it easy a bit. I know I have been slacking off on the party pictures, but it should pick up with Fashion Week and such, plus I have a few events coming up I am excited about. Anyway, on to more important things:

Teddy Blanks show at the Annex got canceled on Monday so a friend of his asked him to join their bill at CoCo66 in Greenpoint. The show starts at 1030. I would guess Teddy will play between 1130 and midnight. Now the important thing about this show is that it is completely free. This is Teddy’s first time playing a free show in the city, so I expect some of you kids to come out. For more information, the Facebook invite is here and the flyer is posted below. See you friday.

Here is another Youtubes update. You know, one of those posts where I post a few videos I have found over the last week, write two sentences about them and then go on with my day because I spent last night watching the State on DVD instead of taking photos of you and your friends getting drunk. So let’s get started and then I am going to get some damn lunch.

Speaking of the State the first video is of the Monkey Torture episode of the State. I completely forgot about it and how funny I thought it was 15 years ago. Monkey Torture and the Muppet Hunting sketch are probably my two favorite sketches that don’t involve Doug or the Old Fashioned guy who evidently was scrapped after the first season. If you don’t know what the State is, just Google that shit already… especially if you are a fan of Reno 911, Wet Hot American Summer, Stella, Michael & Michael, Role Models or Viva Variety. Actually, if you have any idea what Viva Variety is you probably don’t need to Google the state… Moving on…

Next up we have a video Roxy Cottontail shot of the Ninjasonik show the other night. I am featured in it a lot shooting photos on stage. It makes me truly appreciate how bad my posture is. It is really horrifying. Anyway, other than the radness of this clip, around the 3:09 mark you just see me disappear. It is at that moment when my knee completely gave out on me for no reason. I think it is okay now, but it still feels week sometimes and twinges if I bend it weird. Anyway, this video clip is a mix of Ninjasonik’s cover of Attitude by Bad Brains, Tight Pants and their Death Set Negative Thinking About Tight Pants mashup. It looks like a lot of fun, because it was.

Lastly I had to block my dad from Facebook and my mom is afraid to add me, but she says that I keep showing up in her recommended friends list and she wishes I wouldn’t put up such creepy pictures of me. I am just glad she isn’t following me on Twitter… I don’t think.
