I got a big photo job today and I am working on that for most of the day. But it is keeping me from having to get a job for a few more weeks and keep me in LA for a few extra days next week. I signed up for unemployment today which was a first for me. Still tragically upset about the fucking Dolphins. So let’s take a break from all the party photos and have 10 links that could possibly change your life.
1. I have a Twitter account. I am not exactly sure why, but I am told it is super important. Follow me or something.
2. I still have a Facebook group. I mentioned this before, but no one has really use this for anything, so go have a conversation or post some pictures or something. Once again, I have been told this is important.
3. I need money, you need a website. Isn’t it time you got a real website and quit that live journal or blogger bullshit? My host gives me money if you go to them after clicking on this link. They are good and cheap and I really need some money now that I am unemployed. Thanks. I also make money if you sign up to look at naked tattooed girls. Here, here, here, here and of course here.
4. Hipster Runoff is fucking redic. I am not sure why no one told me about this site before, but it is sort of out of control. What is going on with the world? And how does this site exist?
5. I am not sure if you guys are following this, but this homicidal santa story severely needs to be made into a movie. It would be far scarier than another Saw sequel.
6. I was just talking about this episode of This American Life about people who scam Nigerian 419 scammers. It is really amazing, so I figured I would post it here. It starts off talking about Hockey, but most of the episode is about getting even with email scammers.
7. I know the Dolphins lost, but I went to the Jets/Dolphins game last week, before they got killed, and it was magical. This is probably the best video about the Dolphins that has ever been on the internets. It is 15 minutes long and about football, but you should watch it anyway. It made me cry a little bit.
8. This link is super not safe for work, but did you know that scene kids are constantly sending each other naked pictures of each other and then posting them online for other scene kids to see? It is sort of insane, and it makes me wish that all this shit existed when I was 18.
9. This is god damned amazing. I think I would start drinking if I had one of these.
10. This might be easily the hottest video I have ever seen. I really only had 8 links, but I clicked over to Boing Boing and I found these last two. Sue me.

I don’t know about Twitter, man. I get microblogging but what do I blog about? Should I send tweet every time I get a boner? Who wants to read that? And I have a rule against usiong my phone while I’m on the toilet.
Oh shit I forget to talk about the job thing. Sign up with unemployment insurance as soon as you can. If you’re looking for a job through those sites like monster, pony up for the extra shit they offer that highlights your resume and whatever. It’s stupid and obvious but it WORKS.
Thanks for letting me know about the host link. Since I posted this, I have been completely obsessed with Twitter, but I am not sure why. Also, I am on unemployment, but it barely pays my utilities.
The entire anonib site is amazing because it filtered out all of the bullshit and faux-nihilistic white/middle-class “LOLZ I’M SAYING NIGGER” culture that revolves around /b/ (or what used to be /b/ and 4chan) and just sticks to tits. In the last 6 months I’ve been going there I’ve probably, cumulatively, wasted 2 or 3 days. _Scenev3 is fascinating because there’s basically two things kids my age and younger do and thats:
1. Have more anal sex than any generation since maybe the height or Christianity or ancient Rome
2, Put themselves out on the internet (through Stickam or cell phones or boyfriends/girlfriends or get their photobuckets fuskered) without taking an extra second (which as teenagers they should, undeveloped full cognitive abilities and everything) to think that not only will they be forwarded and archived until the end of the internet itself, but that if anyone recognized them or their email/screenname is searchable their entire lives can and sometimes are ruined. Or at least embarrassed.
Even as someone who just turned 21 and was 14-17 when this whole scene thing started, I’m freaked out at how rampant this is and also how much underage porn is proliferating from Stickam. That’s the bad thing about anonib, is that you click a post and it ends up being two 12-year olds on a webcam spread eagle and shit sometimes.
All the anon sites also bring up a weird moral question of: “Someone broke into someone’s email or photobucket account to get these nude pictures. But the person in them is ridiculously hot. Is it right to save it to your computer?”
I did see some border line young people on there, but nothing like what you are talking about. I did go to just the main anonb page and saw some pictures of like 12 year old girls in bikinis which was insanely horrific. But I guess when you have 12 year olds posting, that shit is pretty hot to them. I don’t like the idea of that stuff existing though.
The thing is a forum with child pornography could be used to crack down on people making that stuff, but in cases like this, its the underage kids who are making the materials themselves. So how the hell do you stop that?
Eon McKai sent me a video to a lecture he did where he was talking about how now every kid sees porn at a younger and younger age, and while thats a terrible thing, its just the way it is going to be from now on.
I just think we as a world need to come up with some sort of way to talk to our kids about this shit. I know I saw pornography from as young as age 9, but it was playboys and stuff, not 2 girls one cup.
Im not sure how that stuff effects people, but it can’t be too positive.
As far this whole hacked photobucket thing, people need to take responsibility for that shit themselves. Don’t put that shit online if you don’t want people to see it.

That’s the odd thing. There have been a lot of infamous cases (and Savage Love articles) about underage kids with nudes of themselves or others around the same age or like, taking naked pictures when you’re underage and keeping them when you’re older. The precedent in the law is that its still considering distribution and possession of child pornography, even if you’re not of adult age in your respective state or you were a kid when you took the pictures and its your property. Weird as shit, but they’ve actually prosecuted high school kids who were caught with pictures of their classmates with “distributing” CP.
I was like 8 when I saw Showgirls on my grandmother’s TV and like 5 when my grandfather accidentally left his porn mags in a brown bag on the couch I was sitting and then got a bitching out from my mom and grandma. Its a weird gray area that’s hard to talk about with people, cuz kids are finding this stuff out younger and younger, or in the case of my friends’ and I, just sexually aware at a young age. But it’d be nice if people got their heads around it since kids can easily just google what they want, like in Knocked Up.

The Hipster Runoff people are part of the set of blogger-run radio shows on Sirius/XM Radio’s XMU (college rock/indie music) that has SUCKED since Sirius apparently took it over. Like, sucks to the point I am considering canceling my subscription. Between that and the cancellation of the punk station on XM, I find myself listening more and more to NPR again.
I don’t know what the hell it is, except that it blows. I will not even dignify them by clicking on the link because I already know that I’m not buying what they are selling. They don’t get a ping on their Google Analytics from me.

@alfalfa… Make sure you are viewing the high res Quicktime files and not the WMV files. They should work perfectly on an imac.
