Ho ho! What have we here? New photos taken with a new camera. Thanks to my economic stimulus check (thank you George Bush!) and a birthday present from my parents, I am currently in possession of a brand new shiny Nikon D300 and a 5 year damage warrantee! I can bring my new fantastic camera out with me and when I fall out of a DJ booth and smash it into a the 5 inch heel of a transgendered go-go dancer I can send it in to get fixed free of charge. Anyway, this camera can do so much that I have not even begun to figure it out. All I have learned so far is how to change the ISO, Shutter Speed and FStop which is pretty much the only thing you could do on the Vietnam-era Pentax that I learned photography on 12 years ago. I had to get another photoblogger to help me figure out why my flash wasn’t syncing right. Anyway, this has tremendous possibilities. I am pretty excited with the results. These photos look dope, but they are warmer and more underexposed than normal. I need to play with the white balance a bit and get used to the beautiful screen. It makes everything look TOO good. So I don’t realize how underexposed shit is. The other problem is that the files are so big now that is is taking way longer to manage them. I am going to have to come up with a new system for my photos, so I can put away my old as PC for good. Someone teach me how to use Adobe Bridge please.
Okay. I really need you guys to let me know what you think. Please look at all the photos by clicking here, and let me know in the comments section how you feel about them. Do they still look like my work? Any suggestions, comments. Thanks…
