Often when I have asked a dumb person what kind type of music they like, they have said “I listen to everything but country” or “Everything but rap”. Unfortunately for those people these worlds are colliding. With the Snoop song “My Medicine” he give shout outs to Johnny Cash and the Grand Ole Opry plus Willy Nelson appears to be doing back up vocals. Fucking awesome. The video though is still not my favorite Rap/Country mash up. That has to go to Trace Adkins bewildering country video (Honky Tonk Badonkadonk?!) that is shot and produced like a rap song, and features similar content to classic hip hoppers such as 2 Live Crew and Sir Mix-a-lot.
