Here is part 2 of the LVHRD event. These are all the happy folks hanging out watching the Karaoke. FUN FUN FUN. Okay, check the photos.

I don’t want to be a grumpy Gus, but people gallivanting around on stage s not my cup of tea.  Actually the truth is, I didn’t really bring the right equipment with me to this LVHRD Karaoke battle to shoot on a stage.  I did band photography for like 7 or 8 years and now I pretty much hate it, so I am splitting the LVHRD galleries in to two sections.  This first one being photos of people actually doing the Karaoke and the second set is just crowd shots like I normally shoot.  I think the second set will be stronger.  Anyway, this was a fun event, and I hope to shoot more of their events in the future.  Dig.

I was hanging out with my friend Keith who I never see so I didn’t really take many pictures.  He did not seem to be having fun at Darkroom so we went on adventures.  They mostly included eating food, but still, adventures none the less.  I was in darkroom for exactly one Keith drink.  When he was done, we split.  This girl I had wanted to run into for a while to see came up to me and I was all excited until she just yelled at me for putting up a photo she didn’t like.  How tragic.  Anyway, here is my smallest set of photos.  Wait 15 minutes from now and I will put up one of my biggest….

Plastic was invented 100 years ago.  This article about it is really interesting to me for some reason.  I don’t know why, but you should probably read it.  Soon they are going to be making plastic blood.  THE FUTURE IS HERE NOW! RUN!

Since I am getting a bunch of traffic from Stereogum and Brooklyn Vegan for being the first person to blog about the Lady Sovereign melt down. I figure I should plug the bands I manage. Check out Greenland and the Gaskets ASAP.

Greenland is putting out an album that is very good, very soon and the Gaskets are playing in NYC this Friday at Galapagos in Brooklyn at the Crashin’ In party. You should so come out. Here are some photos from Sway on Sunday. I was only there for a little bit, so there is nothing too exciting. But I did take the best photo of olives I have ever taken. Coincidentally it is also the worst photo of olives I have ever taken. You be the judge.

A guy standing a few feet from me took some great video of the Lady Sov Breakdown. It is pretty amazing.
