Somehow I didn’t meet Belle Noire when she came to my Get Your Kicks art show in LA. She was there but I didn’t end up meeting her until about a week ago when I went over to her apartment for a photo shoot. We had talked a bunch online and I was psyched to meet her especially when she answered the door in a bikini and Mickey Mouse ears.

I was killing time waiting for another model to get off work so shooting Belle was more like hanging out with her at her place than doing a real photo shoot. She smoked weed, read my tarot cards, showed me her apartment, ate candy and tried on outfit after outfit. I never suggested she wear different things, she just would disappear for a second and suddenly be wearing new clothes… apparently she does this all the time.

I had a ton of fun hanging out with Belle and she introduced me to her friend Adriana Chechick who I randomly ended up shooting right after I left Belle’s place. Adriana and I only shot 35mm stuff because it was too dark by the time I got there but it was really fun and next time we will be doing a real shoot. So thanks for the shoot and the introduction Belle! Let’s do it again ASAP!
