Richmond Alleys
Since I am going to Richmond today, it seemed a good time to post these.
This is the photo project that I spent the most time in my life on. Done over two years, this was my senior project at VCU. I had a show, made a book. I printed these all by hand 16″x 20″. If I am good at anything in the world it is color printing. They look much better printed. Too bad I will probably never have the opportunity to do it again. Please enjoy the photos… I am very proud of them. They are also available for sale and I will have some outtakes up at some point soon.

These are very, very good. I think the best photographs of people are those that make you wonder about their lives, that make you invent biographies for them. For that, the photographer needs to have captured the essence of them, which I think you have.
