I don’t have a ton more to say about the 15th anniversary of the Exxxotica Expo that I did part one of these photos, but we can give it a shot and fill some space. Day two was a longer day than day one, but I actually made an effort to shoot a little bit less. I shot over 1000 photos on the first day to make sure I got everything I needed and then I took it a little bit easier, or at least I tried to, I still shot 800 photos, but over a ten hour day that is a little more relaxed. 

Day two highlights include getting to see my old pal Abella Danger who wasn’t there day one, more of that nerdy burlesque from the day one after party, a screening of the legendary Deep Throat introduced by the children of the director, and two girls dressed as sea creatures. Honestly, I can’t think of anything else to say, other than I didn’t shoot day three because I had to watch the Dolphins lose at 9:30 in the fucking morning because the NFL decided it’s a good idea to play games in Germany. 

Oh, I do of course have to mention that because of my broken website and (temporarily?) using Flickr for my galleries, I can’t post any of the photos with “g-strings or pasties” which account for 80 photos today and over 100 from part one. You can see all of those photos, and literally tens of thousands of my nude photos (okay, not me naked but you get it) on my site Girls of Driven By Boredom. It’s currently my only pay site since I got my OnlyFans account disabled for reasons that were never explained to me.

Exxxotica Expo New Jersey just celebrated their 15th anniversary. The company does events all over the place but the very first one was in NJ and I was there so of course I had to show up for the big anniversary. My plan originally was just to go for a few hours but they actually reached out to me and asked me to shoot the first two days for them and I was more than happy to take their money. My buddy Steve Prue is their staff photographer and every few years he spends the weekend shooting portraits and they ask me to fill in for him. So glad it worked out.

Over the weekend I shot nearly 2000 photos which edited down to nearly 500, so I figured we should break this up in to two posts. The first one you are looking at right now and the second post should be up Wednesday. I got too much to do tomorrow. Also, a lot of these photos will be exclusive to Girls of Driven By Boredom, but we will get to that in a minute.

This is the first adult event I have photographed since AVN in 2020 just a couple months before the world ended. I missed Exxxotica last year because my girlfriend’s car was in the shop and I missed AVN because I got the dates wrong and when I started looking at flights and hotels it wasn’t worth it. Between that and my LA trips recently being more about my 1 year old nephew than photographing sex workers I feel a little bit out of the adult world. I knew only a handful of the girls so it felt less like a family reunion than normal, but I still got a bunch of good shots. Plus it was great to see my friends who were there. 

After the show ended I hit the after party for a bit. I shot two burlesque performances including one from Vonka Romanov who I actually photographed way back in 2015. But my bad back was killing me so I wasn’t there long and went up to my hotel room to get a jump start on editing these photos. It’s so wild how old I have gotten in just a few short years. I guess a global pandemic, a severe back injury and getting wifed up will do that to a person. Hey, we had a good run. 

Okay, so let’s get to that other thing… If you are a regular here you will know that my website is broken and I cannot fix it. I have been using Flickr to host my galleries which has a lot of drawbacks, but the main one is that if you post adult content the photos will get marked as such and you can’t see them without having a Flickr account and then updating your settings to be able to see adult content. Because of this over 100 of the photos I shot on Friday are only going to be posted on Girls of Driven By Boredom. I realize that sucks, but maybe a few of you will actually sign up which will help my life since OnlyFans disabled my account last week. That being said, if I took your photo at the convention and you don’t see it in the free gallery, contact me, and I will try and find your photo for you.

So something really horrible happened and I can’t talk about it yet because it’s not really my place to do so, but I can’t think about anything else so I am trying to distract myself with work. I also wanted to get something up today because it might be my last post before until I get back in town from a Thanksgiving trip to DC. So I am going to publish these photos, and promote some shit but all of that feels really pointless right now so I am going to do it quickly.

Here are a bunch of photos of my friend Connie aka Pouty Kitty. I met her at Exxxotica NJ last year, and this year, right before the convention we took some photos in my motel room. I don’t really have much else to say, but she has a great butt and you should look at it.

Also, because I didn’t update in so long because of my website being down there is a bunch of stuff on my pay site, Girls of Driven By Boredom, because I can’t not update that. I went to the very first Exxxotica convention and I keep going back. I wasn’t even shooting for Exxxotica New Jersey for anyone this weekend, but it’s a big family reunion and I get to see people I only see once or twice a year and that’s pretty great. Plus I end up meeting a bunch of new people and I attempt to take a bunch of photos outside of the convention and it’s always a good time.

This year I only did one photo shoot outside of the convention unfortunately, but I took my 35mm cameras with me everywhere and got a few photos at the Inked Awards and some random late night adventures and handful of photos of Abella Danger getting her makeup done before the convention. I have no idea if any of it’s any good but that’s the beauty of film. 

The convention itself I have shot so many times that I kinda took it easy. I mostly shot my friends on day one and on day two I shot a bunch of candid stuff and day 3 I was only there for a couple of hours so I didn’t shoot much. I should also mention that I did something that I have never done in more than 10 years of being a professional photographer and that is forgetting to readjust my color balance after doing a shoot. It was incredibly dumb and honestly inexplicable but it certainly explains why the first 30 or so photos in this gallery are kinda yellow. I am pretty glad I was my only client this weekend.

Anyway Exxxotica was really fun if not super productive and hopefully I will do some cool shoots in the future with people that I met over the weekend. Also, I had a weird number of really hot girls tell me I looked hot this weekend so apparently losing 30lbs and growing my hair out was a solid move and I just wanna hype myself up a little bit here cause this weekend was also the first time I saw my ex since we broke up and that was super emotional and porn stars flirting with me makes the crippling sadness a tiny bit better. I should probably delete this paragraph but I doubt anyone reads this far down anyway and they just look at the photos, but if you made it this far feel free to hit on me via the internet so that I feel a little bit better about myself. Over the weekend I went to the 2018 Exxxotica NJ adult convention. It’s an event I have covered way too many times but it’s always fun to see everyone and I usually get some fun shots in a random hotel room after the convention is over. The last two years I was actually working for Exxxotica because my friend Steve Prue is their house photographer and he needed someone to cover a few things for him. This year they didn’t need me but my friend Veda offered me a ride and the hotels were super cheap so I decided to go even though I was just shooting for myself. 

On Friday I spent most of the time just saying hi to people and introducing Veda and her friend Kitty to people and really just hanging out. I took maybe 20 usable photos on the first day. On day two I knew I wanted to shoot more so I spent most of the day on my own shooting and ended up with a decent gallery even though it was decidedly lazy. I mostly just shot my friends and then some random sniping when I saw good fan/star interaction. So here I am once again apologizing for my photos even though I should probably pretend I am the shit since most people can’t tell good photography from bad photography anyway so it doesn’t really matter.

Outside of the actual convention I think I probably got some fun stuff. The first night we didn’t get into much but I did end up shooting Veda and Kitty in our hotel room. I mostly shot 35mm stuff, but I did shoot a handful of digital shots too. The light just sucked so I focused mostly on shooting with my flash on my 35mm point and shoot and some black and white as well. Since the digital stuff is pretty mediocre, but the girls are fun to look at, I decided I would just make that shoot an exclusive to Girls of Driven By Boredom, so if you want to see them naked in a hotel room go sign up now. 

The second night was fun. I was waiting for a friend to hit me up about shooting in her hotel room, but never heard back so I was ready to give up and head back to the city when Veda got a text from someone telling her we should come by the Inked Angels Awards after party. We figured we would check it out quickly and then head back to Brooklyn. When we got there the after party was over but we ended up hanging out with a bunch of drunk tattooed porn peoples, got a White Castle Crave Case (30 burgers!) and ended up partying in Johnny Gash’s hotel room. That’s a horrifying porn name, but we were pretty much wearing the same outfit so I appreciate him anyway. I hope a bunch of the 35mm stuff comes out because it was a weird fucking night. We probably drove back around 3am or something and missed out on day 3 of the convention because I had to watch football because my life is weird. None of this really matters, but I still have a bunch of convention photos for you to look at below.

This weekend was the 10th annual New Jersey Exxxotica. I actually went to the very first one back when it was supposed to be Exxxotica New York but it got moved at the last moment. I met Stoya there who has let me crash with her at a couple Exxxoticas and was the inspiration for my Dinner With Igor book (and she signed some copies of my new book if you want one). The first one was really one of my first introductions to the adult industry aside from shooting Burning Angel parties. It’s cool to see where it’s gone in 10 years.

Also a big difference is that this time I was actually working for Exxxotica. My buddy Steve Prue is their main shooter and he wanted to do some portraits last year so they had me shoot for a few hours last year while he was doing that. I guess they dug my stuff because this year they brought me back to be a second shooter on Friday and Saturday. I had to be back in NYC to watch the Dolphins lose last night so I missed Sunday but I am sure it was a good time.

Usually when I cover a convention I am turning in 50 photos for a gallery on a website somewhere so I can hang out and fuck around and bang out a gallery in a couple hours. Shooting for Exxxotica I was pretty much going non stop and took a million photos which I edited down into a gallery of nearly 400! Fortunately for me my girlfriend Gia Paige was signing autographs all weekend so I got to hang out with her every couple of laps around the convention. Not the worst thing ever.

Not sure what else to mention (Ton Loc was there?!) but there’s a massive gallery for you to look through. If you want more info on some of my favorite pictures I did a pretty long Twitter thread yesterday. I also uploaded all the pictures to Girls of Driven By Boredom in high res and the gallery is way easier to navigate if you want to look through them all quickly. Really I just want to sell you stuff.

Speaking of selling you stuff, I got a bunch of girls to sign the mini edition of Instaxxx while I was walking around the convention. I got 5 copies signed by Gia, Abella Danger, Jojo Kiss, Charlotte Sartre, Jillian Janson, Joanna Angel, and Bobbi Dylan. Hey guys I am on day two of a three week trip starting with a drive across the country. I am just south of St. Louis at the moment helping my friend Alex move to LA. From there I am in California for 10 days before hitting DC for Thanksgiving and then heading to Miami for the post-Thanksgiving weekend. Should be a fun trip.

Normally I would put up the Road Trip blog while I was away but I have a few updates to get to before I do that. The first one is this post about Exxxotica, NJ which I will get to in a second. I also have to do an update about the final Wood Rocket gallery that went up a few days ago.

My third update is going to be about the 72 Oz Steak that I am going to attempt to eat tomorrow. In Amarillo, TX there is a restaurant called the Big Texan and they have this infamous steak eating contest. Last time I did Route 66 it was on my list of things I wanted to do but it didn’t work out. Tomorrow it’s fucking going down. I put up an absurdist Kickstarter to raise money to eat the steak and I raised twice as much in 24 hours so that was pretty amazing. Really the Kickstarter is just a pre-order for the new Driven By Boredom enamel buttons I made but don’t tell anyone that. You still have nearly a week to get on that but even if you don’t you can still watch me eat it tomorrow, just download the app Hype and follow drivenbyboredom so you know when I go live tomorrow.

Now, let’s get to these fucking Exxxotica photos.

I have covered so many Exxxotica conventions and most of them have been in Jersey. I have covered two in Chicago as well but this was my first time actually working for Exxxotica. I hit Exxxotica photographer/ friend of mine/ excellent naked photo taker Steve Prue up about getting a ride to New Jersey and he told me that he actually needed a second photographer for Friday. So that worked out pretty well.

Normally when I shoot an adult convention I sort of half ass it because there’s so much to shoot and it’s easy to get a handful of good shots and spend the rest of the time talking to porn babe friends. I mostly cover these things because it’s a good way to find new models and visit people I only see a few times a year, but because I was working this thing I actually had to work and I took over 1000 photos over two days so there is a massive amount of photos for you to look at.

I gotta get back on the road since I have to make it to Oklahoma City tonight so I am not gonna say much more about the convention but there’s a lot to look at and it’s pretty NSFW. Oh, and my Christmas Card is gonna be pretty great this year…

Lastly, before we get to the photos make sure you go vote today. Even if you don’t like the candidates it’s important to be part of democracy. People fight and die for something we take for granted so don’t and get out and vote. And if you live in California please Vote No on 60. It’s a measure designed to look like it’s protecting adult performers but in actuality is a way to harass the adult industry and get it out of the state. Read more here.

The day before the Exxxotica Chicago adult convention I had no plans on going. I had just returned from my road trip and was just starting to get my life back together (I still haven’t done my taxes) when suddenly I had a trip planned. I was supposed to shoot Charlotte Sartre on my west coast road trip but it didn’t happen so we were making plans for when she came to NYC next. A few minutes later we were talking about Chicago and her extra hotel bed and I realized I could get a super cheap miles ticket and after a quick email to Exxxotica’s press people I was on my way to Chicago.

The weekend was kinda insane and I maybe lost my mind a little bit after not sleeping at all for no reason (pretty sure you guys are familiar with my complete inability to sleep). I spent the better part of Monday sleeping and then slept 12 hours on Tuesday and suddenly I am functional again and realized the trip was a lot of fun if not exactly productive.

I did some pretty nice hotel room shoots with Charlotte and a babe I met on the last day named Jezabel Visser. Basically those shoots were the very first and very last thing I did in Chicago with a little bit of actual Exxxotica coverage in between. The rest of the time was spent moving from hotel room to hotel room in search of the next adventure. I shot three or four rolls of film and filmed a bunch of Snapchats (add me bro!) but my digital camera stayed in my bag most of the time. Should be some weird stuff of Stoya and Sydney Leathers and a few other people when I get my film developed though…

Anyway, the Exxxotica convention itself was pretty chill. I mostly was shooting on Friday night because I knew that would be the least crowded day. I got to shoot a bunch of girls at their booths and then I shoot some of the Chicago Anime Expo crossover (that would have been fun to have shot had I known before hand) and then I called it a day. So the gallery is pretty small but I feel like there is some okay stuff is in here anyway.

I try to get to the Exxxotica porn convention in NJ every year at least for a few hours. It’s a good chance to see a bunch of my LA porn friends on the east coast. Usually I just snap a few pictures, hang out with some friends and maybe meet some new girls that I could photograph. It’s pretty casual.

This year was a bit different because I brought my friend Pinky Guest who went to Antiques Roadshow with me. She wrote two articles for the Village Voice including this hilarious holiday gift guide about the weird things one can buy at Exxxotica NJ.

The last item on her gift guide happens to be the creepy highlight of my Exxxotica. My friend Sydney Leathers is a lovely human who also happens to be a fame whore who made headlines when she published sexts from Anthony Wiener. She then made a porn film called Wiener and Me and made headlines again when she brought Vice Magazine to her labiaplasty. The final piece in the PR stunt puzzle was to put her removed labium on eBay!

Unfortunately (or in my case fortunately!) eBay took down her auction because apparently you aren’t allowed so sell human body parts. Fortunately for me it’s legal to give people your human body parts! I randomly was talking to Facebook about how I have a creepy collection of dead things in jars and she told me I could have her labium. She just wanted it out of her apartment. I realize it’s insanely creepy to be as excited as I am about getting part of a vagina in a jar but I totally am.

So yeah, it was great seeing my porn friends and I had fun with Pinky photographing weird stuff for sale at the convention, but honestly nothing could top owning an infamous labium! Thanks Sydney!
