GATHERING OF THE JUGGALOS DAY 3

Day three of the Juggalos was pretty productive. Most of the day was spent following professional wrestler and viral video sensation Jeff Hardy around for a profile the LA Weekly. We followed him from his hotel room to the Gathering and took shots of him getting ready for his headlining fight at Juggalo Championship  Wrestling’s yearly event Bloodymania. It was a lot of fun since he was one of my favorite wrestlers as a kid and I found out he’s only a couple years older than me. Apparently he started wrestling on TV at age 16.

But before we met up with Jeff I also got to shoot part of WolfPac’s annual juggalo fight club. I saw two matches, the first of which was fairly brutal (see face below). The winner of the day goes on to fight the previous champion Nebraska Warrior who I have spent a few years documenting for different outlets. I hope to catch that championship fight today. I haven’t seen Nebraska yet and I kinda love that guy.

Yesterday was also a fairly nudity filled one. I got to do a proper photo shoot with Sydney Krey, one of the Busey Beauties I met last year. She is such a babe and we shot behind some toilets which is a pretty classic Driven By Boredom vibe I think. I also randomly stumbled into one of the tents last night where they were apparently having a foam party but it was mostly just some naked girls on stage. Good times.

Oh, I should also mention that the wrestling event Bloody Mania was kinda amazing. One of the longest tenured JCW wrestlers (and one of Violent J’s best friends) Rude Boy announced that he was diagnosed with dementia from wrestling head injuries and had to retire. It was heartbreaking and I did not expect to be tearing up at a juggalo wrestling event. Violent J also wrestled for the first time in 8 years. He gained a ton of weight and lost all of it since last year. He did a moonsault off the top rope and was honestly impressive. More on all this later in a separate post so only the wrestling nerds have to read it, but for now links to my coverage in other outlets.

Oh, wait. Did I mention I saw fucking Slick Rick?!

And now 5 random photos…

The Final 2015 Gathering Of The Juggalos Post

This is it. The very last 2015 Gathering of the Juggalos update. You made it! Now we can go back to naked porn stars and hipster parties and shit. Get excited. As soon as I get back from vacation I will hit you with a few naked babes to make up for all the juggalos.

This post is just a dump of everything left over from the Gathering. It starts with the very first photo I took of a car that was being signed by everyone and ends with a photo of some wrestlers moving a safe. (Just FYI I was told on good authority that the car was signed by Tech N9ne’s tattoo artist so it’s pretty valuable.)

In here we have a lot of juggalo photos that weren’t quite good enough to make the Juggalo Portraits gallery plus photos of stuff for sale, some crowd shots, pictures of juggalo campsites and vehicles and some of the Wolfpac/ Psychopathic Radios events that didn’t make it in the fight club update. There’s also some juggalo tattoos and some pictures of juggalos getting tattoos. No photo of my new juggalo tattoo though…

So that’s it for the photos, but I also wanted to include a list of all of the articles and photo galleries I had published in different outlets across the internet.

The 2015 Gathering Of The Juggalos Is Over

Yesterday was the final day of the Gathering of the Juggalos and it was a pretty fun one. Gotta make this update quick though because I drove to Indianapolis instead of editing photos and now I am about to photograph a really hot lady and then go get food with my friend and then edit four days of photos so I can get them to Rolling Stone and Noisey by the time my editors get into work tomorrow. Let’s go.

They day started off with a fantastic surprise. One of my favorite people, Angel Beau, just happened to be performing her strip circus act in Dayton, OH the weekend of the Gathering and so Freakshow Deluxe, one of the sideshow acts at the Gathering, drove to Dayton and grabbed her and had her perform with them. Their sideshow was rad and it was so awesome to see her there even if she was only around for an hour.

Day four also featured more fighting, more Busey Beauties and more bands. Mushroom Head was totally silly up close. Their masks look like mid level halloween masks and there are far too many people running around on their stage. Really weird. Waka Flocka on the other hand was fucking amazing. Juggalos started throwing shit at him and instead of leaving stage like other acts have done at the Gathering he just jumped into the crowd and played several songs while moshing and hugging juggalos. It was awesome. One of the best performances I’ve seen in my life.

Machine Gun Kelly was next and he puts on a great show even if I don’t love his music. Waka Flocka came out for his first song which was pretty great as well. I’ve photographed him backstage at the Woodie Awards, at the AVN Awards and now at the Gathering of the Juggalos. Pretty random. He did leave with all the Busey Beauties I was flirting with, but I guess I can’t blame him…

ICP ended the music portion of the night and as always they put on one of the most insane shows possible. I don’t care what you think of their music or their fans; if you ever get a chance to see them live do it. You will be blown away. They ended with a slow song instead of their usual closer and I guess they gave out Chinese lanterns because during their last song everyone lit them and the sky was filled with them which was fairly epic. Plus someone shot one down with a fire work which was fucking impressive. Juggalos do fucking shit up very well.

After ICP I saw Judah Friedlander’s comedy set which was mostly crowd work and very funny. I think rolled over to the wrestling matches for a second but it was crazy over there so I visited the mythical burrito man one final time and dipped out.

Here are a few photos from yesterday and then starting Monday I will start dropping several updates a day on the main site until you get to see everything I shot at the gathering. Get excited.

UPDATE: Noisey ran my juggalo fight club photos! Go look at them!

Gathering Of The Juggalos Day 3

Day three of the Gathering of the Juggalos was my take it easy day. There wasn’t anything I actually really cared about photographing. I slept in and got some work done and even published my first article ever that was more writing than photos. Check it out over at Noisey:

WE FOLLOWED ELECTRONIC PUNK RAPPERS HO99O9 TO THEIR FIRST ‘GATHERING OF THE JUGGALOS’ FESTIVAL

So that was cool. I wish people would give me money to write sometimes, not because I am good at it or that it pays well, but writers get a lot more credit for articles. Whenever I collaborate on an article with a writer it instantly becomes their article even if it was my idea and their name is always bigger, etc, etc. Then again they have to do actual work and for the most part get paid even worse than photographers do so maybe fuck it. I don’t know.

Anyway, back to yesterday… The highlight was definitely another bare knuckle boxing match. If you remember Nebraska from last year, he was back and absolutely destroyed a huge dude who looked like he could throw down. They fought two rounds with gloves and any sane ref would have called the fight pretty much instantly but the Wolfpac are not exactly sane and made them take the gloves off after two rounds and the other dude took a hell of a beating. I got some crazy shots.

I only shot one band, Twiztid and I only took like 10 photos of them because I have shot them a million times and only juggalos care about them although they did a collab with Mishka and I sat in on an interview with them and they seem like pretty good dudes.

One of the reasons I didn’t shoot any bands is because I finally got the Gathering of the Juggalos tattoo I have been talking about for years! It was my first tattoo that I ever got while bugs were flying all over me. I just got Whoop Whoop! tattooed to my leg and the guy basically just did it by hand and jammed it in some random spot on my leg. I kinda love it even though some dude on Instagram told me he was unfollowing me because of it. Gonna miss him. 🙁

After Twiztid I went to one of the weird after parties because this insanely hot girl told me she was gonna be dancing there which is one of the few reasons I do anything in life. I took a handful of photos there and then decided to leave so I could get some work done since I gotta be down there kinda early today. On the way out I caught a few minutes of Big Jay Oakerson’s comedy set but he was doing vaguely homophobic sexist and racist jokes which isn’t really my thing cause I am not a bigot. Maybe that’s what he though juggalos would think is funny but he wasn’t exactly killing up there.

I can’t think of anything else interesting that happened yesterday so here’s some random photos of juggalos…

The Insane Events Of The Gathering Of The Juggalos

This is probably the craziest post of my Gathering of the Juggalos experience. Yeah the juggalette porn is epic but this post is a combination of several really weird events they have that when joined together Voltrons into a post filled with nudity, fighting, and Michael Jackson.

Last year I broke the events section up into a Juggalette Oil Wrestling section and a Juggalette Wet T Shirt Contest and an epic W Fuck Off post… but this year I tried to shoot a lot less so I wouldn’t have to spend a month uploading GOTJ pictures. So I took it easy, still got a bunch of wild stuff and shoved all of this stuff into one monster sized gallery.

In this gallery you have:

  • Shots from Slick Chix oil wrestling aka fat naked girls covered in oil
  • Pictures W Fuck Off Radio filled strippers and dudes fighting
  • The Juggalette Lingerie Contest which is pretty much just juggalettes dancing on stage
  • And lastly shots from the ICP hosted BBQ where Prince and Michael Jackson impersonators battled

All of it is totally insane and amazingly NSFW.  You need to check out this gallery because it will probably change your life. I mean how much do you want to see Ron Jeremy host a contest where a pregnant juggalette gets naked and uses a tent pole as a stripper pole?

Click here to see the entire uncensored gallery of the insane events at the 2011 Gathering of the Juggalos.

Kirra & Nina

I have only left NYC twice since January. The first time was a yearly trip I have done with three of my childhood friends where we all quarantined for two weeks and then back in September when cases were really low in NYC I went on a 24 hour road trip to my friends’ rental property Sparrow House in upstate NY with Kirra and Nina. We took a ton of photos in the short time we were there and I am going to have solo shoots with each of them coming soon, but let’s start out with some real pretty bathtub photos.

I had wanted to go up to Sparrow House to see my friends Mike and Sarah for a while but I didn’t want to take public transportation which is how I got up there in the past so I rented my friend’s van to go see them. But I figured if I was going to spend the money on the van and gas and tolls I should be productive at the same time. The area is absolutely beautiful (as you will see in the later shoots) and I really wanted to shoot there so I hit up Kirra who as you may know is one of my favorite models and she said she was down to go and told me her friend Nina Burns wanted to come too. I clearly was down for that and I picked them up at Kirra’s place right after rush hour one night.

We got up there fairly late in the evening and Mike built a fire and we were all hanging out around it but at some point one of the girls got cold or something and they went inside while Sarah, Mike and I continued our fire hangs until I got a text from Kirra. “Hey is it cool if we take a bath in this giant tub and also do you want to take pictures of it?”

We had proper photo shoots planned for the next day but I certainly wasn’t going to say no to bath tub photos. Unfortunately the light in the room was absolute garbage and I didn’t think we were going to get anything good, but when I looked at the photos I actually thought they were very pretty so I did what every bad photographer does and converted them to black and white so you can’t tell how bad the lighting is. I honestly can’t tell you how much I hate the way digital black and white photos look, but sometimes it’s the only move you can make.

Anyway, I can’t wait until you guys see the rest of the stuff we shot at Sparrow House but in the meantime if you want a preview there are a few color shots I took of Kirra and Nina by the river on Girls of DBB as part of this gallery. All these photos are there too but in high resolution. There’s also some video I shot of them on in the bathtub my OnlyFans today and I put up a real pretty video of Kirra at Sparrow House recently as well.

Okay, that’s it. Let’s look at some photos! I tend to like to space stuff out so I don’t know when you will next see the solo stuff we shot but it’s real nice and will be here sooner or later!

2017 #MetLifeTakeover – 9.24.17

Yesterday was a hell of a day for me. Things actually started the day before when I arrived at Slattery’s Midtown Pub to prepare for two days of football related madness, none of which had to do with the national anthem. I have explained this here before but I kinda feel like every time I do a Miami Dolphins related post I need to do it all over again…

My friend Michelle and I started the NYC Miami Dolphins fan club in 2008. When I moved to NYC I didn’t really have any friends who watched football and so I would watch them at random bars. Eventually I met Michelle and started watching with her and her small group of Dolphins fans. That small group organically grew until after the 2008 season when Michelle and I decided to start using our web and marketing skills to start promoting it. Dolfans NYC was born.

We started doing raffles and selling t-shirts and coming up with other reasons for people to come to the games despite the Dolphins being a mediocre football team. As we started to generate income we decided to give all the money to charity so we wouldn’t be motivated by profit or fight about money. That decision paid off because it attracted the attention of the Miami Dolphins who have given us a ton of support and opted not to sue us for blatant trademark infringement.

We raised so much money over the years that we actually had to become a not for profit corporation. We couldn’t just deal with beer buckets full of one dollar bills anymore. We needed to make it official. Last summer we filed for our 501(c)(3) status and got it and now I have a no limit AmEx card which says Dolfans NYC on it which is absolutely absurd but great for getting into airport lounges.

Anyway, back to this weekend. Sunday was our annual #MetLifeTakeover event where we bring hundreds of Dolphins fans to the Dolphins @ Jets game and throw a massive tailgate party which starts the night before at Slattery’s with our annual #MetLifeTakeover pre-party.

I got there at 5pm to set up for the 7pm party which was supposed to end at 9. I think we left around 1am after organizing and packing up eight huge bins of assorted Dolfans NYC merch. The party was a good time and we raised $500 for hurricane Maria which unfortunately makes nearly $2000 we have already donated to hurricane relief this year. On a more positive note we got to try out our Snapchat filter that my friend Ricardo at Subdrive records made for us.

After I finally got home from the party I packed up all my personal shit from the night before and tried to get a few hours of sleep before I had to be awake again. I might have managed 90 minutes… I had to be back at the bar in midtown by 6:30. The bar manager was still there from the night before.

We loaded up four chartered buses and took them to MetLife Stadium in jersey to meet up with over a thousand Dolphins fans for a party organized by Urban Tailgate. They took a huge amount of stuff off our plate and were already pretty much set up when we got there. Our own DJ Tropic showed up with them and had music blasting before the busses even pulled in. There was so much god damn food and a bar sponsored by my friends at Sailor Jerry and we set up all sorts of games that bros like to play. And of course we brought some inflatable palm trees. It was pretty great.

Around 10am the Miami Dolphins radio show “Cup of Joe” showed up to film before the game. It’s hosted by former Dolphin great Joe Rose who interviewed fellow former Dolphin and current Dolphins Vice President Nat Moore and CEO Tom Garfinkel. We also had another legend (Jim “Crash” Jensen) just show up randomly to the tailgate and party with us.

After that Solo D performed a few songs in the crowd. He is a rapper who mostly writes songs about the Dolphins and unlike most sports themed music is actually really good. I have a weird collection of Miami Dolphins vinyl records and I really want to put out a Solo D record one day.

The tailgate sort of ended with a big raffle we did for a Dolphins helmet signed by one of our best players, Cam Wake. We ended up raising $1800 for charity just with that helmet alone. When you add that to the all the merch we sold and profit we made on the $70,000 worth of tickets we are going to be able to do a lot of great things with that money starting with a pretty sizeable donation to the Miami Dolphins Foundation.

It’s really weird that the thing I have been most successful at in life is running a pro football fan club but here we are. I am actually headed to Florida in just over a week to see the Dolphins play and make that Miami Dolphins Foundation donation but I am gonna fly into Orlando or Tampa and make my way down to Miami with a nude model and shoot a bunch of weird photos and get tattooed and crash with a juggalo sideshow because my life is fucking insane.

Speaking of trips, I am headed to Detroit tomorrow to hang out with my lady friend Gia Paige. Hopefully I shall return with photos of her in abandoned urban ruins and even more photos of her tiny puppies. Gonna try and get an update ready to go before I leave so I can drop at least one more post on you before the weekend, but no promises.

Click here to see all the photos from the 2017 Dolfans NYC #MetLifeTakeover.

Ps. Yes, I know the Dolphins got embarrassed by the Jets and yes, I think it’s bullshit that the President of the United States is using is platform to tell black athletes to shut up, but don’t you think this post is long enough already?

Insane Clown Posse – 4.29.11

Insane Clown Posse played in NYC for the first time in over a decade. They finally found a place, The Gramercy Theater, that would let them put down enough tarp to protect their club from juggalo juice, AKA Faygo.  Normally when I shoot a band, I shoot the band and I don’t pay too much attention to the crowd, with ICP it’s just the opposite.  As interesting as ICP is live, they spray bottles of Faygo soda at the crowd and it’s very hard to take photos of them without getting covered in the sticky stuff.  I got my shots and then just shot juggalos.  And everyone loves juggalo photos!

I should mention that Saturday Night Live writers were there hanging out trying to get new material for their next juggalo sketch. Also there was only one fight that I saw but I got kicked out of the club for being in the middle of it taking photos. Luckily I called Psychopathic Records PR babe Andy who got me back in.  Now lastly, before we get to the pictures from Gramercy remember in the next day or two I hope to get up photos from the Juggalo Midnight Cruise which should of course blow your mind. Come back soon.
