Lindsay Lohan Topless

Finally. I has been so damn long since I have been able to post about some naked celebrities on here. It is one of my favorite things to blog about because it requires absolutely no effort on my part and it ups my Google traffic tremendously. I still get like 100 hits a day from people searching Google images for “Vanessa Hudgens Naked“. It is pretty nuts. So here are some shots of Linsay Lohan topless. Her hair is covering most of her, but when Paris and Ms. Spears are remembering to put on underwear this is the best we can do. God I hope I can come up with something interesting to blog about tomorrow to make up for this post. Sorry.

Oh yeah, also there is this Beyonce nipple slip from the Oscars! What a day! (Just be happy I didn’t do a separate post just for that)

As a photographer yourself attempting to make a living from your work and skills, who is posting someone else’s copyrighted images and stamping them with your own logo, in an avowed attempt to manipulate Google’s algorithms for your own benefit and status, I’m curious if you’d be open to the same fair treatment of someone skimming your images? I’m not criticizing, I’m asking.

And don’t say something like “My crap photos will never increase your status” because that’s avoiding the point. I want to know what is your HONEST ethical stance on this issue?

@anon. The post was tongue and cheek about the google stuff. I don think I am making an “avowed attempt to manipulate Google’s algorithms”. I am just blogging about something that is popular. I branded the image only to obscure the nipple to make it SFW on the front page. If you click through you get the untagged photo. Now, as far as copyrighted images, I didn’t really think about it and you have a point. And I edited the link from Egotastic to the artists site, and I credited her in the link, which is what I would want if someone were using my photos. And I have had a lot of photos listed and I usually just ask that people credit me, which is why I brand the logo in the first place.

Also, if at any time I got an email from someone asking me to take something down I would, and I always do… even if I am the photographer.

I’m all for blogging about popular topics; I was curious about your position as a blogger and photographer with plenty of your own content who uses popular topics to get “100 hits a day” and the boundaries of ownership and territory that you blur by doing so. Algorithms are algorithms and there’s plenty of research on them; even adding metadata is about increasing your pagerank or search results, I wasn’t arguing against that.
Like your tongue in cheek, my words are weighted to prove a point.
    thanks.

Well the Vanessa Hudgens thing is a totally different story. That was a total fluke. And I have no qualms about that. That is some camera phone picture or something. I don’t do any SEO stuff or things to try to get google traffic. I was mostly joking about the post. The traffic that comes in from google search rankings looking for celebrity porn is shit traffic, the last thing I would want.

Also, I am someone who is in very strong support of things like creative commons licensing. I let people use my images for anything non commercial as long as they credit the source. Which is what I did for these images after you got on me about it. I should have done it to begin with. If I put photos on this site, I would have no problem with people blogging bout them. The artist behind these photos I am sure knew that tons of people would blog about her images. I think that what I said about them is your problem here. I think that if I put up one image and talked about the work and linked back to the post you wouldn’t have an issue.
I think I am using these images in fair use.

And like I said, any comments about traffic or google rankings was mostly a joke.
