I have to say I enjoyed the photos and the concept.

I think it was a very fun light hearted way of expressing an idea.

I love the smile of the security(?) guy in the last photo as he looks at the work.

well i have recieved a lot of positive respose as well. if i had a problem with negative comments i would not have aproved any of this. Although I do notice that the one positive comment left their email, while the negative ones prefered to remain annonamous. Also, the sites you read that linked you here clearly liked my work enough to post it. But I do like that you called them unnatural, as that was the point.

I agree with the other posters… these don’t work for me. The shots are completely unnatural and inefective. These are simply models trying to be funny, and failing, with a “comic” exaggerated discomfort straight out of a Warner Bros. cartoon.

And by the way, yes, it is your “art”, but when, as you say, “a lot of people have had the same [comments]” that these shots don’t effectively depict what you were aiming to capture, perhaps your viewers are all picking up on something you are choosing not to see. And what exactly does an artist “win” by saying that his or her viewers are missing the point? If you just want fawning comments about how wonderful your nudes are, perhaps you should show them only to your mother

You are missing something. I chose to have them pose like that. I like the over forced thing because it makes them funnier to me. I tried both, I think the forced stuff looked a lot better. A lot of people have had that same problem since I first showed this work. I am not sure why, but personally I disagree, and it is my work, so.. I win.

I don’t think you’ve dessexualised these people’s nudity, I think you’ve just reinforced people’s embarrassment of their bodies (if anything happened at all). These just look naked people acting unhappy to be naked, badly, and despite this there are some very nice boobies in there. So I would try again.
