It was getting late, so I headed over to Rebel Rebel to see some friends before I went home. I mostly just hung out and didn’t take a lot of photos. Rebel Rebel is more like a house party with a bunch of friends sitting around listening to music than it is a dance party, but I still have fun every time. See for yourself.

Gay Prom at Rated X. I had two friends in town this night. We had some fun. They took some pictures that they won’t let me put up. How unfair. Then the hottest girl in the hot body contest wouldn’t get naked. Infact the last few hot body contests I have seen at Rated X have been sort of pathetic. I need more boobs in my life! Anyway, there are at least 4 boobs in this gallery which I guess is better than none. So yeah, NSFW, duh. Drool here.

Greenland is one of my favorite bands. I shot two Polaroids of them for their album artwork. Their album is called Call Message and it is amazing. It came out Friday and I made the trip to Arlington, VA for the show. It was fantastic. That being said, I am a pretty mediocre band photographer considering how long I have been doing it. Oh well. Check out the shots.

I spent 6 hours working on the site today and I still have nothing to show for it.  I organized hundreds of old photos that I have taken that will go up in a few sections over the next couple weeks.  My brother still has my computer charger so I can’t upload photos.  Luckily my old computer still functions and I could get all this work done today, but I can’t upload anything with out my Mac.  So yeah.  Updates are ready to go, I just need my computer.

The IFC is doing an Asian film festival right now and I plan on seeing maybe 6 of the films over the next week or two. The first I saw was Park Chen-Wook’s I’m A Cyborg But That’s OK. I didn’t really know what to expect from a romantic comedy from the guy who directed three of the best revenge films I have even seen. The answer of course was attempted suicide, a cyborg with guns for fingers, a world ending bomb and lots of people brutally murdered by aforementioned gun fingers. The story basically is about a girl who thinks she is a robot who has a grandmother who thinks she is a mouse and is in love with a boy who thinks he is inviable. The movie makes about as much sense as that plot description, but it is very pretty and very enjoyable. It is playing again this week, so check it out if you can. I plan on seeing movies on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday so expect more write ups and weird trailers soon.

I just found one of my favorite bands of all time on YouTube.  I had a chance to see them in 1996 but I flaked on it thinking I would have another chance.  I never did.  This 7 min clip makes me regret that even more.  I wish I liked music now as much as I liked punk in the mid ’90′s.  I just don’t care anymore. 

PS.  I left my computer charger in DC.  My brother is bringing it to me tomorrow.  I am updating from work, but I can’t upload photos until I get that charger.  Sorry.  I took some good shots at Rated X last night.  Check for them Tuesday.
