Prince Terrence hit me up a few weeks ago about his Wednesday night party the roof of the LES hot spot The DL. The party has the really creative name of “Wednesdays”.  He told me it was a crazy event and I should come check it out. I didn’t make it out for a couple weeks but last Wednesday it was my birthday and I had to do something so I showed up there and managed to drink about 15 drinks and not try to fight anyone. So it was a good night.

So THIS Wednesday I came back and I brought my camera. I really like mixed crowds and The DL has a lot of different types of people hanging out. It reminds me of “Playhouse” which was one of my favorite parties until I got screwed out of $650. I think you will get the idea when you see the pictures, but the best parties bring different subcultures together and mix ’em all up and I think “Wednesdays” has that going for it.

The highlight of the night was seeing a bunch of old friends and partying like it was 2008 and the lowlight was forgetting I am borrowing a car and leaving it at the club and taking the Subway home. Whoops.

Now I am going to go back to convincing people that they should give me money to go on vacation and you should go look at the pictures!

I took a short drive down to Richmond, VA in December to see some friends while I was in DC for Christmas. A couple days before I went down there I saw on Twitter that a Burning Angel named Mabel Wolfe lived in Richmond. I was going to stay in some shitty motel so I figured I might as well hit her up and see if she would want to do a shoot in my gross highway motel. Not only was she down, but it turns out she was an old school Driven By Boredom fan long before she ever got naked on the Internets.

Mabel is totally awesome and we hit it off right away. We ended up doing the photo shoot and then going across the street and eating at Olive Garden with a mutual friend of ours. I think it was only the second time in my life I had ever been to Olive Garden but it was surprisingly delicious and I took photos of Mabel’s boobs under the sign.

After our Olive Garden throw down we met up with another mutual friend Pam and instead doing a nice photo shoot of the two of them like we planned, they got really drunk and I took photos of them eating Taco Bell.  The whole thing was awesome and Mabel and I kept in touch and she actually hung out with me on my birthday the other night and yelled at me for not putting up these photos yet so here they are. In about two weeks I am going to go on an adventure. Ideally I am going to travel to Chicago, and then drive most of the old Route 66 and then drive to Vegas and then to LA and then go up the west coast to San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver. Along the way I will be taking photos of naked girls and road side attractions and hopefully both at the same time. I am gonna hit some parties along the way and just take a million photos. I make enough money of this site to eat, but I certainly don’t have enough money to spend a month on the road driving to towns in the middle of nowhere.

Fortunately I am going to be shooting a video series for WoodRocket.TV  so I have some money coming in right off the bat. On top of that I am talking to a couple of sponsors that will help the trip along. I also have some money saved but I am pretty sure that will be gone VERY quickly.

So in order to fund the rest of this massive undertaking I am going to be making a black and white photo copied signed and numbered zine from the trip. I think it’s going to be pretty awesome and I have some cool ideas for it assuming I still have some money left over when I get back. So I set up an Indiegogo crowd funded thing for it. You can preorder the zine for $20 or you can donate more money to get a bunch of other stuff like prints and exciting things like that!

If you donate $5 or more you can get access to a secret Tumblr I am going to set up with daily photos and video from the road. If you donate $10 I will send you a post card from some campy road side attraction. From $25 upwards you can get prints and other stuff and I will send you a bunch of DBB swag like stickers and buttons with those orders. If you ever wanted me to come to a photo shoot with me you could donate some stupid amount of money and do that. People hit me up all the time about it which I find mildly creepy but for $1000, you are instantly less creepy.

Another Brooklyn Zombie Crawl? You know what that means… Another insane Brooklyn Zombie Crawl after party! Last year the party was held at Public Assembly and my band played and it was a ton of fun. This year our drummer was out of town, but it was still a hell of a time. A half Misfits cover band called Skeletal Life played and that was awesome and later Bikini Carwash played and they were awesome and late night a singing pirate named Voltaire played and in between the bands there was just total madness.

My friend Lunchbox hosted the Disgraceland Family Freak show and the Disgraceland Hook Squad did some terrifying flesh pulls including one where Lunchbox attached a hook through his balls and my friend Sewer Sprite attached hooks to her throat and right above her vagina and it was extremely brutal.

Two things we learned from that: 1) Yes this gallery is extremely NSFW and 2) My friends have absurd names.

Scarlett Storm and Smurfasaur Suicide from the Rigormortis Review did burlesque and got naked a lot and Smurf was involved in the Disgraceland stuff and pretty much all of it was awesome. You can see them naked in places like Bombshell Brats and Suicide Girls if you are into that sort of thing. Personally I hope to shoot them for real for this site soon, but I have been saying that for a while now…

And to end the night Doug Sakmann hosted his infamous Strip for Pain which involved Scarlett and Smurf torturing guys and getting naked. Good times.

My friend Doug Sakmann once again brought the NYC Zombie Crawl to Brooklyn and fake blood covered Bedford Avenue. The 7th annual Brooklyn zombie crawl wasn’t quite as massive as some of the crawls before it, normally it takes place on Memorial Day weekend, but hundreds of zombies still showed up ready to eat hipster flesh in Williamsburg.  The crawl started out at the Knitting Factory and went down Bedford Ave to McCarren Park before turning around and ending up at Public Assembly for an insane after party.

I have been covering Doug’s zombie crawl events for years and I think they get crazier and crazier. Between the zombies and the flesh pulls and the random nudity this gallery is very much NSFW.  But just wait until I post the after party pictures, looking at those pictures at work will definitely get you fired.

A few months ago I headed down to BaoHaus, the Taiwanese bun shop on 14th Street in order to photograph chef and owner Eddie Haung.  Eddie had just come out with his book “Fresh Off The Boat” and was making news with his Vice show of the same name. I was hired by a magazine to photograph him for an interview that unfortunately never happened but I got some cool shots so I wanted to share them with you.

The magazine liked his street wear style and I wanted to do something different than just photos in BaoHaus. I had an idea to go down to a sneaker shop like Alife Rivington Club and have him try on shoes or something, but he had a better idea. He wanted to get his nails done. He had never actually had a manicure before but we both thought it was a pretty hilarious concept so we walked down the street to a place and he got his nails did while I took pictures. The whole thing lasted about 15 minutes and then we went back to his restaurant and I took a few more pictures of him there while he made me some food. It was fucking delicious.
