Scenes From The Gathering

This is it! The last Gathering of the Juggalos update! For many it may seem that the Gathering is a horrifying place full of scary clowns and drugs and naked fat people, but it’s also very beautiful. Cave In Rock, IL is on the Ohio River on the border of Kentucky and Illinois and it is a gorgeous place if you can look past all the nitrous tanks and stretch marks. My very last gallery from the Gathering is some lovely landscapes and such things that made sense all together in one place. Despite the mysterious juggalaids sickness that I still have I miss the Gathering already and I cannot wait until next year to get back and take more crazy fucking photos.

I guess I don’t have anything more to say that hasn’t been said in the dozens of updates I have posted since returning, so I guess this is it. I am going on vacation. See you guys next week.

The Gathering of the Juggalos is a yearly music festival in Cave In Rock, IL created by the Insane Clown Posse that I have now photographed three times. Every year it produces some of the best photos I have ever taken. To see my complete GOTJ archives please click here.

yes! it is very very beautiful, not just the sites but the actual place where people can go to be free and have fun, and not be judged, is amazing. everyone shares with each other and watches each others backs. folks can walk around in various states of undress with no fear of harm coming to them, and no unkind words only props no matter what you look like. true, it may look brutal but it is indeed extremely beautiful as well. 🙂
