When I was in Chicago I kinda fell in love with Sidney Scarlet… or at least I have a huge crush on her now.  She is one of The Chicago Six AKA the six girls who shoot porn for Burning Angel who happen to live in the greater Chicagoland area. She is roommates with Rizzo Ford and they showed up to the shoot together… several hours late.

Because we were running out of light we had to shoot really quickly and you will notice all sorts of random shit in the background of these photos because I was much more focused on getting shots than getting good shots… hah. Luckily I am pretty brilliant and Sidney is retardedly adorable and we got some awesome stuff. Maybe not as epic if we had some more time, but I am pretty happy with the shots and hopefully I will get to shoot her again soon!

I hit it off with Sidney very quickly when I met her at the T&A Tuesday event I shot in Chicago. She kept laughing and smiling all the time and she has an amazing smile and that is the easiest way to fuck me up. If you can make me feel less shitty by just smiling at me you are probably going to have me stalking you and sending you love notes made from human skin within a week. Okay, perhaps I am exaggerating a bit but I am pretty smitten with this girl and I know you guys will be too.

I feel like I have shot 100 New York City zombie crawls.  Just do a search, it’s amazing how much zombie stuff I have shot for my friend Doug Sakmann who runs these crazy things.  I always end up with great photos and meet crazy girls with questionable morals so it seems to work out. This year was no different.

This year the crawl started out at Beauty Bar, made it’s way south through the Halloween Adventure costume shop and then over to The Continental for cheap shots. After that the craw continued south to the after party at Arlene’s Grocery where Angelo Moore AKA Dr. Madd Vibe from Fishbone performed his solo set for the first time. He also joined the crawl shooting a music video along the way. Also performing was Nassau Chainsaw who always put on an insane and very dangerous show. After that there was a performance by God’s Green Earth but I had been awake for way too long at that point and I left with two zombie babes to go eat some human food for the first time all day. Brains are just not that filling.

At nearly every NYC zombie crawl the Disgraceland Hook Squad performs. They are a suspension group and they hang themselves by hooks which I always love photographing. They always perform with Nassau Chainsaw and this year was no exception. One of the first people I met at one of these zombie crawls was a Disgraceland member named Spliff. He was a great guy and I was really upset when I heard he was in a horrible car crash that paralyzed him last year. Sadly Spliff died on Sunday and everyone found out during the zombie crawl.  So many people there knew him and it really changed the mood of the whole thing. Everyone still had a lot of fun but everyone who knew had their minds on Spliff. I know I did. This post is dedicated to him and I am asking you guys to donate a little something to help his family bury him. He will be missed.

Now to lighten the mood a bit before we get to the pictures I should probably mention that there are a bunch of giant zombie boobs in this gallery and on top of the blood and gore normally associated with zombies and flesh pulls this gallery is very NSFW.

As I mentioned last week I shot all six of the Chicago Burning Angels at the same time. A couple days later I did real photo shoots with three of the girls, Rizzo Ford, Sidney Scarlett and Felix Berkley. The plan is to get all three Chicago Burning Angel galeries up this week starting with the lovely Rizzo Ford.

All three shoots were rushed and I feel like if I shoot any of these girls again the photos are going to be way more awesome so bare with me. These girls are still babes and you are probably going to be psyched about these shots even if I am not totally in love with them.

Anyway, Rizzo is a babe. She has an awesome Mr. Pink Steve Buscemi tattoo and she dates a party photographer. I support anyone who regularly has sex with party photographers.  We need love.

Speaking of party photographers, this set and both of the other BA Chicago sets were shot at Matt from Darkroom Demons place. He let me crash there my whole Chicago trip. Thanks Matt!

Last spring a guy named Jeremy Rocklin approached me about doing an episode of his web series New York Lives on me.  They are great little documentaries about interesting New Yorkers or places/events in New York. I loved his work so I agreed to do it.

I sat down with him months ago and he interviewed me for about an hour about the website and my life and all that stuff… but he needed more footage.  He wanted footage of me shooting a girl and shooting a party.  I had an idea to shoot a girl naked in Chinatown but people kept flaking on me.  Finally Veruca James was visiting from Chicago and was really into the idea. We went down there with Jeremy and shot some crazy stuff all over lower Manhattan. You may have seen the photos here.  A few days later I brought him to Lit Lounge and he shot a little b-roll footage of me shooting the Thursday party there NC-17. It was pretty dark and he didn’t need much stuff so that was quick and easy.  Finally he came with me to Red Rocket tattoo where my friend Betty Rose gave SB from Rocky Business his first tattoo… it just happened to be of my logo.

Jeremy got great stuff and sent me the video. I thought it was great, but in the months he was working on it I ended up losing 30 lbs.  I hated seeing how fat I was in all the footage. It seriously was awful. Plus I had this horrible mustache as you will see in the film because I played “mustache guy” on an episode of this HBO show Girls that will be out in January.  There wasn’t that much footage of me talking in the documentary, it was just my voice over photos and video, so I begged Jeremy to reshoot part of the interview.  Luckily for my ego he agreed and we shot a little bit more footage at my apartment a couple weeks ago.

He finally put it all together and created this madness that is 7 minutes about my life. This thing is perhaps the first in the series. It focuses on the girls mostly but he want to do future episodes about my new punk band and my Miami Dolphins club. I hope it happens cause shooting this was a lot of fun.  Just wanted to thank my friends who helped out on this… Veruca, SB and Betty Rose. And thanks to Ballpoint Pens and The Death Set for the music!

I shoot tend to shoot a lot of girls who are on the adult website Burning Angel. They are kinda like my pornographic family.  I even have a section of my website dedicated to just BA girls. Back in August I went to Chicago for the first time in my life and shot all six Chicago Burning Angels in the same place. I shot Veruca James and Azure Maddox when they visited NYC and I shot Phoenix Askani when we were both in LA.  The other three girls, Sidney Scarlet, Felix Berkley and Rizzo Ford I shot separate sets of on my last day in Chicago. I plan on posting ALL THREE of those sets next week, but first I want to post this mini gallery… a preview if you will, of all the Chicago BA girls hanging out at the Chicago BA party T&A Tuesdays. Recently I met the awesome and babelicious Jesse Lee Denning (who you might recognize from the cover of the April issue of Inked Magazine). She invited me over to her amazing spot in the West Village and she took her clothes off on her porch and I took photos as I tend to do. It was fantastic and now there are a bunch of NSFW pictures that you will want to look at.

Maybe it’s because I am writing this at 7am but I don’t have much else to say other than Jesse Lee rules and I have a feeling we will be shooting again soon. I really dig these photos and I hope you do too. I also feel like I should give a shout out to my Aussie homegirl Renee Ruin who despite living thousands of miles away hooked us New Yorkers up.

I hit up the Wolf Party at Le Souk last night pretty much just because I needed to get out of the house and take some damn photos. I hadn’t shot anything in almost a week and I just needed to do something. I have been focusing on getting a number of projects organized and I haven’t had a lot of time to actually shoot photos.

I am really glad I did go out last night. The party was a blast and I ended up running into a bunch of people I don’t get to see that often any more like Roxy Cottontail, DJ Jess, Sam Valentine and Mike De Guzman. I used to see all of those kids at least weekly a few years ago but I guess it is not 2007 anymore.

Anyway, the party was fun, as you can probably tell from the pictures.  Right… you haven’t seen those yet…

I have lost track of how many of these “All My Friends Are In Bands” things I have done so this is just a new update. This one is also slightly different because one of the bands I am not friends with at all so it sort of defeats the purpose. That being said I needed a third video and They Might Be Giants are one of my all time favorite bands, there album Join Us is amazing enough that I actually bought it twice and their video features Rip Fucking Torn.

Well I guess we are already starting with the TMBG video so let’s begin with that. As I mentioned their new album Join Us is great. I bought it as an Amazon download and then I bought it again on vinyl which came with a download code which was pretty stupid of me, but this band got me out of the worst time in my life so they can keep my money.  When I was a sophomore in college I broke up with the love of my life and I was destroyed. Like I have never been and never will be destroyed.  Right before she broke up she lent me Flood by TMBG which was one of my favorite albums as a little kid. I started listening to it all the time and then I got into some of TMBGs other stuff and I realized this band was so brilliant and not the joke band that I saw on Tiny Tunes.  Their songs were so sad yet so upbeat at the same time. They were all I listened to for three three months it took me to begin to get over this girl. I have seen them probably ten times (although never in NYC which is odd considering we both live in Brooklyn) and they always were fantastic. There is actually a close up clip of me in the crowd in their documentary.

The other important thing about TMBG is that if it weren’t for them I might never have met The Gaskets, the band I managed for 5 years. A friend called me down to see them because they reminded me of TMBG. The Gaskets weren’t that into TMBG at the time but as soon as I showed them the music we quickly bonded over it and they ended up covering Don’t Let’s Start. (8 years later I am still working on showing their music to the world… and you can help by donating to fund the tribute album dedicated to deceased Gaskets member Ross Harman.)

Anyway, this video is awesome and Rip Torn is a bad mother fucker. I know you want to watch him do battle in some sort of hipster fight club. Seriously, watch it:

Next up we got my dude Ease Da Man’s new video for Levitate. It features Lynx Supreme and is pretty much the only track on the Average Sized Penis mix tape that isn’t about Ease doing drugs. This song is pretty much Ease just spiting madness about how awesome he dresses and setting designer clothes on figure while yelling FUCK SWAG. I support all of this and I sort of think Ease is a brilliant human who should be dead but somehow keeps existing. Plus the hook is catchy as fuck. Lastly we have Ninjasonik who seem to show up more than any other band in these music video write ups.  They constantly put out videos and they are always pretty fucking awesome. This new video isn’t quite as epic as the masterpiece that was Moshpit but it’s still pretty wild and the opening line telling Pitchfork to suck a dick is real on point. This video is for a track called Prostitute off the No Swords Or Masks mix tape, it guest stars Courcy and it features a lot of graphic Jah Jah on television sex.  Have no idea what I am talking about? Hey guys! Meet Dante. She is a Gods Girl who came all the way from Australia to shoot with me! Okay, that’s not true at all, but she is from Australia and she is visiting our fine country and fortunately I got a hold of her before she made her way to the west coast where she is no doubt causing havoc and getting naked for fun.

Her and I hung out all day a few weeks ago. I convinced her to come run some errands with me and on the way we took a bunch of photos of her naked in public. At one point the cops caught us and we thought we were going to get yelled at but they just wanted us to get out of the middle of the street. I bought her dinner in exchange for her help causing a scene all over the Lower East Side.

The pics we took in public were all on film and they didn’t make for a real set or anything, but we did want to do a real shoot for the site so I decided that we should head over to Le Bain that night and shoot in their hot tub because The Standard seems pretty okay with people getting naked in their hotel.  Unfortunately by the time it was party o’clock the last thing I wanted to do was go all the way to Le Bain so instead we just walked around my neighborhood until we found this random graffiti covered door way to shoot in. It was a pretty cliched set idea but I have completely ran out of locations so we shot for 10 or 15 minutes at 1am while people kept walking by us.

Dante is fucking amazing and adorable and probably deserved a better shoot but I hope she is happy with the pics we did get.  I hope you guys dig them too… Um. NSFW. Duh.
