Insane Clown Posse Cruise – 4.29.11

Right now I am in Louisville, KY with Prince Terrence and Dances With White Girls. We got the Kentucky Derby tomorrow and I am fucking exhausted.  We have been at it all day and we gotta go do some more stuff in a minute and I need to take my first shower in four days.  That being said I need to get these juggalo cruise photos up so let’s get it on… quickly…

The after party for The Insane Clown Posse’s NYC gig was on a fucking boat. Seriously. We were on the Jewel Rocks Off Cruise on the East River. We were on a boat for four hours with ICP and a bunch of juggalos. Mike E Clark and DJ Clay were DJing all night.  You might know DJ Clay as the male host of the Gathering of the Juggalos infomercials.  There was also free food. In fact at one point people started moshing and the bouncers had to stand in front of the food so no one knocked over the tables. I asked the biggest bouncer “When you were a little kid did you ever think you would be guarding hot dogs from insane clowns?”  He laughed and then shook his head and said “I just go where the money is..”

Anyway, as crazy as this whole thing was you have to give it to a band like ICP to do something like this for their fans.  All these kids got to hang out with ICP, get autographs, get pictures with their heros and a bunch of free food all $17.  You don’t see too many bands do stuff like that for their fans.

Anyway, click here to see all my photos from the Juggalo Midnight Cruise.

I haven’t had many positive experiences with juggalos, but I respect the idea, and the gathering seems like one of the last true bastions of absolute freedom and expression you can find in the US today. I would imagine it’s the most badass party out there too.
