Yesterday Trinity was down with 2 seconds left and they lateraled the ball 15 times to win the game on the last play.  It was the most amazing play in football history since the Stanford/Cal game.  Amazing.  Just watch this video.  Even if you don’t like football, this has to be seen.  Wow.

After Wrecked I ran over to Trash for their Halloween party. Because of the rain it was pretty dead, but the people inside had a great time. Pretty much every single person was dancing to spooky hits and monster jams. I stayed late and arm wrestled Richie, took photos in a coffin and watched Michael T do his best minstrel show. I got home around 8 AM after eating at the sidewalk cafe with a motley crew of Team Trash. Jake asked me to come down and shoot his party Wrecked at Revolver on first and Third Fridays.  There was a private party for some striped shirts and they were just standing around talking about finance or Mitt Romney whatever they talk about, but the hipper (hipster?) contingent danced their asses off and a lot of fun was had.  Revolver could use a little work on their sound system though… This party could be a lot of fun in the future.  Dig the photos.  Two photobloggers with blond mullets in one room?  Amazing.

My friend sent me this 30 Rock Alec Baldwin clip and it made me think that this scene from Glengarry Glen Ross might be online… and it was. Glengarry is a good movie, but honestly the reason I bought it was so I could watch this scene whenever I wanted. So, now you can too. This scene was not in the original David Mammet play, but he wrote it specially for Alec Baldwin for the movie. Oh man, Baldwin is such a bad ass.  My friend Keith can do this monologue nearly word for word, it is great.  This is great.  You are great.  Watch this clip.

I blame the fact that no one in this city is going to be sober for the next week on last night being dead. So my night started out simply enough. My friend Minka came over and helped me bleach my hair. The goal was dirty blond for my MacGyver costume, but of course it just turned orange. I used the conditioner the dye came with and it made my hair really fluffy. I pretty much look like a baby chicken. I am probably going to dye it brown or something tomorrow, but I am going to go out with the orange again tonight. So last night I started off at Unstoppable Perfect at Happy Endings which is normally a lot of fun, but it was dead. I had plans to meet some people there but one of them lost their ID and just went to Brooklyn. I left and went to Lit but it was pretty lame there too. I was there for about 10 min, just long enough for everyone to make fun of my hair. Machine Sex told me she liked it, but then again, her name is Machine Sex so I am not sure how seriously I can take that complement. Nico told me he liked it, but I called him out on that and he agreed with me that it looks horrible. Then I went to Beauty Bar for their 12th Anniversary which I felt would be packed, but again it was dead. I had fun there though, I talked to a bunch of people. Nikki Sneakers was glad to hear that my hair was a “goof”. Then she told me I didn’t know shit about horror films because I didn’t know who she was being for Halloween, which sort of hurt because I am sort of a film nerd and fucked up cinema is a passion of mine. Oh well. Anyway, I wanted to see a bunch of people last night and I didn’t see any of them or do anything really fun and I didn’t take any photos so it was pretty much a big waste of time.

I will be at Revolver tonight from 12-2:30 and at Trash from 2:30 – whenever….

Once I took a film class and I had to make a film on Super 8MM. I just filmed trash in an alley behind my house. While I am obsessed with film I have 0 aspirations to direct movies and I pretty much just wrote the whole class off. I wanted to be studying film not wondering around with a 20 year old camera. So I just stuck some Black Flag music over the in camera edited footage. I don’t know why I am even uploading it except… um… why not? So enjoy my “Jealous Again” music video. Shit man. It is High Voltage… I always have fun, but I have run out of things to say about the party. I met a girl who got mad when I called her cute but seemed okay with me calling her “unreasonably fuckable”. I rode the train home with “crazy drunk girl” from way back when… who is now pretty much a friend of mine and not really THAT crazy. But she was that drunk and she passed out in my lap. Her friend spent the train ride hitting on Joe Fuck Yourself who slept on my futon that doesn’t have any cushions on it. I am not quite sure what he was thinking. Oh what lives we lead. Last night Sean MF Roberts asked me to take a picture of him and Antwan so that he could prove that they are different people because no on will believe he is not Antwan.  One of them told me that they look more like brothers than they and their brother does.  That is a lot of misplaced pronouns.  Anyway, I think they are going to go as each other for Halloween.  Luvina is going as Antwan too.  I thought about going as Bronques, but I figured that some people don’t find black face as funny as I do.  Now the real question.. is can you tell who is who?  I see them nearly every day and if I didn’t take the photos myself I don’t think I could.
